darvex
Take a look at a CZ-75B. I use the tactical model. The 75b is one of the best rated, if not the best 9mm you'll find. I've had a few 9mm guns and prefer the feel of this particular model. Inexpensive to shoot and highly accurate. There's a composite model available but really not needed if your not going to carry. LT.Smoke
If you just want your pistol purely for plinking and in home defense and not concealed carry you can even look at Hi-Point very affordable guns but dont do to well for concealment lol Team MaxRetribution Si Vis Pacem Parabellum Id rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6 Bowhunting- Life Begins and Ends at Full Draw Bowhunting Team Fatal Trajectory Hunt Team http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/49335-sick96vtecaccords-t-line-build/?hl=sick96vtecaccord << Accord Build http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/68498-smokedout08impalas-tline-build/?hl=+sick96vtecaccord << Impala T-line build Rebassed.com for all your music needs 👌

Xtace
So this will be my first handgun purchase. I really enjoy shooting so I think its about time to break down and buy a firearm instead of renting at the local range. Can any of you guys give me your input on some good brands/models to look at. I think I have narrowed it down to either a Sig or a Glock but am open to other suggestions. Im a bit of a noob on the whole handgun stuff so take it easy lol so, what excatly are you looking for in a handgun? is it just gonna be for plinking on the weekend? defense in the home? concealed carry? basically I want it to shoot on the weekend but also for home protection. It is so hard to get your carry permit here in MD its rediculous. Jazblazer I'm in South Jersey I have my florida non-residence carry its not hard to get, check into it I can't carry in jersey but any where else I can plus they keep adding states. 33 or 35 now check here http://ccwpermit.org/ very helpful info bro. jagblazer01
Therein lies the problem. I plan on moving out of state to a state that is easier to get a permit. I am looking at Florida or NC at the moment. So I need to plan ahead for when I am able to get my carry permit so I do not have to buy a new gun. Although if I start collecting firearms like I want to it wouldnt really matter lol Team Sundown Audio / Team XS Power / Team SHOK SMD Super Buyer/Sellerwww.sundownaudio.com www.shokindustries.com www.4xspower.com www.excessiveamperage.com
Sammitch0
Personally out of the lot I prefer the 9mm Ruger. Great look, comfortable(I have fairly small hands) its fairly heavy for a mid sized 9mm but the power it produced with such low recoil was amazing. I'd deffinatly recommend it and its also cheaper than the previously listed.
