lol

just a guy that learned the hard way a ling time ago a new gun isn't always the answer. It doesn't hurt, but isn't always the best solution

kart or bar-sto are the way to go for excellent quality at a mid level price.

I run polar opposite barrels .

the wolf barrel at about $125 is a good everyday barrel with decent accuracy with traditional land and grooves which allow for lead fun rounds with the can off. At the other end is a sterile Lothar Walther special contract run polygonal barrel that I have yet to find anything that competes with it. I could have bought another gun for what I sank into it

Build an at or buy. Get a 300 black upper to go with it. Blammo deer slyer

That's not even something I would have ever thought about doing without someone telling me I could do that.

So say I go shopping at PSA, right now I got about $800 I can put towards it. I start with a plain jane 223 like this(?)

http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/deals/daily-deals-new/ptac-16-m4-5-56-nato-slick-side-1-9-rifle-kit.html

http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/catalog/product/view/id/10445/category/4282/

And with this, that leaves me cash leftover for mags/ammo, and the new start on saving for a 300blk complete upper.

Do I have this right so far?

Philrab, new paint looks good.

Hep you'll probably want an optic too I've got a vortex strike fire 2 on my pistol and it does a good job for what I ask of it. The practice stuff doesn't always get the best reviews though but psa does have some good deals. I built my pistol through red barn armory and got a great price on it too. I've got about 600 in my pistol

Yeah I figured the window ones were newer and cooler but not necessary, just saw the first one at 10.98 and wanted to make sure I was looking at the right thing. I won't have to pay shipping on the mags if my shop orders them.

Here I sit, cart filled out and ready to go, finger won't hit the damn order button.

Their normal safe/fire lower went out of stock so I either pay $10 more for a bullet-pictogram version or hop to $100+ for a non-blem.

Suck it up buttercup. Just an fyi I buy my lowers locally
