Lets keep it a civil topic.

It is true that a single 18" T3 TSNS has been doing 166s in a non wall. But yes, install and vehicle is huge.

And yes, a Sundown 8 has done over 150, in a CRX, but so has a DD1508. In a CRX. And so has an ED8, in a CRX, and I believe a Kicker square 8 has also broken 150 in a CRX.

Heck, I can put the DAD KMH 8" in this Marbella car and do 153s. That doesnt mean that its better than any of those other subs. It doesnt mean that it will be the loudest or best SQ in anyone elses install.

Install and vehicle is very important, and like I said before, it is incredibly difficult to know what sub is better at what when you dont actually test them head to head in the same vehicle.

If you want something different, the DAD line is a distinctly different line than most you will see. The motors arent used by anyone else currently, the baskets are rare. The soft parts are strong. The poly cap gives a clean look that varies from the standard paper cone/bubble cap.

Its good stuff, or I would never have been associated with it.

Just cause nobody else has a sub that looks like it, doesn't make it special.

It could be, but I doubt it.

I'm sure it has it place for someone, but I'm sure their are similar subs out there that will sound as good(or better), take more power, look better, list goes on.

Fact is, its coming into a market where every design is played out and can get 100 of each it seems.

Nothing wrong with it, as if it was, nobody would sell anything.

But its nothing "special". If it is, please inform me. But I'm not saying that's bad. Don't take it that way.

But it seems we have 10 plus companies come out with subs that are similar to other companies every year. And only a few companies actually trying to introduce new things.

I can rant all day on this subject.
