Corner stress is only something to worry about with the MTX squares. Kicker and Hifonics have the issue sorted. Not sure on the Crunch squares, never seen them pushed hard enough.

I like square subs but in the end they're just not build as good as an equivalent round sub.

Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through.
