Nyaim
Is it possible that this amplifier HFI55.4 run a pair of this Pioneer 6x9 600watts and a pair of this pioneer 6.5" 350watts smoothly without cutting off? audiofanaticz
yes it can... The pioneer speakers that are 600watts and 350watts do not need that much power. Those are PEAK power ratings which mean nothing. You want to look at the speakers RMS power ratings, and buy an amp that will put out close to the same RMS as the speakers (at whatever the speakers ohm/impedance is). The 6by9 are 4ohm speakers rated at 80watts rms The 6.5 inch are 4 ohm speakers rated at 50watts rms These are realistic wattages and very normal for many of these type speakers The hifonics amp you linked claims to do 55watts rms by 4 channels at 4 ohms per channel. Things should work nicely.

zayres29
with my experiance with maxxonics 4 channels it wont really like being wired to 2ohms i would just stick with one set of 6x9s and one set of 6.5s Btw that was the first person. Ever banned by me while dropping a deuce. Feel privileged
audiofanaticz
Thankx much bro! also would it matter much if i added another 2 6x9's to that? You could... if you did id suggust running them to the same 2 channels as your other 6by9s on the amp, which would result in 2 of the channels on the amplifier running at 2ohms and the amp would make 110watts rms for each of those channels.
