Ford302Redneck
haha, read the specs on the Z. "power rating: well if you have to ask..." That's what it said on the old site too. I'm guessing that's a pure SPL sub? You got to be kidding me? You didn't know the Z is a SPL sub? Its hard to give a rating to a SPL sub. As it is not designed to take X amount of power for 5mins plus. That's why it doesn't have a real RMS rating. Yes it will take plenty of power for 1-2sec, but all depends on your setup. Yeah, I don't personally like 182db @65hz, but it's all in competition..And I'll respect the time and effort people put in those cars Quote c'mon now, if i was shooting an 8 year old, it wouldnt be MY 8 year old. i recently got a Pyle PL1590BL and i was building an enclosure for it tuned to 25 hz. i didn't have any tools to cut a circle so i hit it with a big hammer. 2003 Infiniti G35 Sport Sedan Build in Progress

Yessir, dead serious. I don't follow DD much. I don't follow MAJOR competitors. I knew it was used in SPL, I didn't know if it was like a lvl 5 or BTL- used in both, daily apps and comps. Sorry, I didn't know if was such a big deal..damn -__- iKidwell- I feel the EXACT same way lulz James- you do make a good point lml Edited February 1, 2011 by hdorre Quote On 5/8/2011 at 7:38 PM, Kranny said: On 5/8/2011 at 7:35 PM, 'Maxim' said: It hurts me inside when I read stuff like this and remember you're 15 LMFAO so true Mitsubishi 3000GT (Old Build) Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: (2) McLaren Audio MLT-2 Tweeters & (4) PRV Audio MR Series Neo 6.5" Mids Substage: 4 15" Hybrid Subs - Tantric Motors & Sundown Softies Amps: Banda 2.4D Amp (Tweets), American Bass VFL 350.4 (Mids), and (2) Ampere 3800s Electrical :Singer 260A Alt & JY Power Lithium 2005 Chevy Colorado Ext Cab Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: 4 PRV 700Ti Tweets & 6 10" Delta Mids on 3000wrms Substage: 6 Fi BTL 18s in a 4th Order Walkthrough on 3 Wolfram 4500s Electrical: Singer "390" and JY Power My Official Feedback Thread

Its like you got a nice fast street car, then saying, I personally don't like top fuel cars, but I respect the time and effort. Number chasing can be VERY addicting. Just cause you can't listen to music on it, makes it no good? A lot of people hate on extreme cars, but in al honesty, we need more in this sport. SPL is dead cause nobody wants to spend the time building a real install. Everybody wants to buy loud.
iKidwell
they play music fine, people on smd bitch about 600 dollar subs, so of course you dont hear about 4 grand subwoofers I'm assuming you know what you're talking about, because I've never first hand ever seen a z, but I thought the fs was just way too high for that sub to be getting low..if I'm off on that please feel free to correct me Quote c'mon now, if i was shooting an 8 year old, it wouldnt be MY 8 year old. i recently got a Pyle PL1590BL and i was building an enclosure for it tuned to 25 hz. i didn't have any tools to cut a circle so i hit it with a big hammer. 2003 Infiniti G35 Sport Sedan Build in Progress

I didn't at all say i didn't like it, I said it wasn't something for me, I'm a 17 year old who isn't allowed to have a job because of sports so i wouldn't have the money to do it even If I wanted to.. As that is the idea behind them all. But the Z doesn't have the cooling to play anything for long. Also the suspension isn't going to allow for much. As it will play music, it wasn't designed for that purpose, so why do it? Its like me using my mustang to tow my enclosured 20ft trailer. Sure it will do it, but my F-250 is designed to do it way better.
