my buddy came to me to put a system in his car. wanted to spend like $300. by the time i was done he spent well over $500. but he is VERY happy with it. i dont let my friends buy junk.

at the moment, i do not have my equipment listed out, but the list i have made up, equals roughly 2200 minus the front stage cause im happy with what i have for now there

however my first decent setup, was 2 kicker cvr 15s (150 with box), rf prime 500 (100), 4 gauge rf wire (120, got raped on that), head unit was given to me, and 50 bucks for component infinity set front and back

so roughly 500 bucks after various little costs, and even though im not big on mainstream, none of the equipment is really low grade, i cant stand it when people say they want a budget system and go to walmart to find one, then swear its the best thing since sliced bread

That little 4 speaker combo comes with a pretty decent HU, Ipod ready and stuff... Those 250 RMS subs actually sound pretty good haha. I like pioneer's cheap stuff, they're not too shabby, only problem is that 760W amp is bridgeable to 380RMS, but it's only stable at 4 ohms bridged, and the subs are SVC 4 ohm... So you might have to get 2 of the 760W amps, which are $125 a piece. So the total is more like 450-500..

Just because Walmart is an authorized pioneer dealer, doesn't mean it's not pioneer. And PLEASE do not try to tell me pioneer is low quality.

I know, but you dont 'have' to use all of the power. if you did you could get 4 of the 10s, raise the sub cost to 200 so about 450 460 all together,
