nCOMP1337
For my edges I push wood filler into the raw edge and then give a light sand. Then a coat of primer and a coat or paint. exactly what i was gonna say, ive never built a box myself yet, however i have read lots of builds and done a lot of research, still a noob though, but i have seen this done before and it seems to work well
SQMonte
Wood glue > * Just out of curiosity I applied some wood glue to the raw edges and let that dry. Works like a charm! SQMonte
I used wood glue and this is how it came out This is 3 coats of color, total. Not gonna bother trying to get a mirror finish, I think this is good enough. Rogers
that doesnt look bad at all... yeah like they said before.. you godda keep building the layers of paint and keep sanding... the first couple times i go over it very lightly so it doesnt get very wet... that gives it a little surface to start with... and wood filler first helps even more..
