I'm thinking about running 8 Hifonics HFi 12s in a wall in my extended cab toyota pickup, at 1 ohm on a Hifonics HFi2500D

Will I kill these subs? Will they last at all?

I have a couple other options.. It just seems like this would be pretty loud for just 500 bucks...

it will work yes. in my honest opinion im not such a huge fan for walls of cheap woofers. i like the shock value of being loud with barely anything. but whatever you end up doing im sure will be good.

Someone on another thread posted how they had a customer with 8 of those on a 1500 watt amp and scored a 141. I just don't know

The amp wont do rated, but that would be a good combo for those subs! Just make sure you set your gains properly and you will be good too go!

If you want to go with a cheaper woofer that is fine but I would go with a better brand amp that is known to put out rated power.

Rockford

Sundown

DC

Stetsom

SounDigital

Powerbass----older XA version

Planet Audio--Big Bang series

Audio Que

Any of these brands will do rated power. They are going to cost a bit more money but you will get MUCH better results and in the end you will be much happier.

Oh does anyone have any idea why the amp will actually do?

This will be my first big system...

I always wanted to do a wall... something people would be like WTF is that? lol

they do rated at 14.4 volts and drop 10% or something for every volt you drop

Well I guess punching a woman is a good way to test your strength! You never know how strong you are until you cold-cock a woman in the head and break that bitches jaw.

Next time she tries to punch you in the stomach, whip your wiener out and chase her around. Show her who's boss.
