When a mod gets time could they change my username to Kevin M. -
I would like to see a video of before and after. See the contrast in temperatures. I do a lot of tuning in the garage and the car gets hot quick even with the door open. I would use it on the floor too. The exhaust can heat up the car. It would be cool if you guys made a sandwich of ccf/mylar/mlv and see what that would be capable of too. Just throwing that out there lol.

I am interested in hearing some responses. It is much cheaper than black hole 5 that is in my front doors. I would like to add some to a pair of pods for 8" fullranges I am going to be doing in a few months. When used properly they should improve midbass response and clarity in the midrange. Esp. with paper cone speakers. Jon could you tell us what they are made of. Is it several layers of foam, and butyl; with mlv sandwiched in between? What freq. range is it having the most effect on? If I use it with a 15" midbass would you recommend two per enclosure?

I've used it as a gasket between the subs/speaker and the mounting surface. I have used it on little trim panels that like to rattle in the doors. It probably has more uses but 7 out of the 10 things it could do i think non hardening modeling clay does better. I would agree that it is still useful but in a narrow focus. Not really a deadener, can't really use it as a decoupling layer, but it might be necessary to have it lying around just in case.

When someone asks for a ride to work and you say sure. Then they stay on the phone the whole fucking time. 40 minutes and I have to sit there driving in the quiet. Can't play my stereo and can't have the windows down.;"I can't hear my bluetooth." Bitch you're about to swallow that fucking thing. Fuck that. -

How about dynaglass. I get carpal tunnel after trying to mix a batch of that stuff. Lol it reminds me how my hands would feel when I did corn de-tasseling as a kid. Fuck that. -

A sewer pipe breaks in my front yard. Fuck that. Turns out it was only clogged. They snaked it and pulled out like 5 lbs of root. Fuck that lol -
Sundown 6.5 Subwoofer Project
Kevin M replied to sundownz's topic in Sundown Audio - GREAT Amps/Subs! GREAT Customer Service!
Wow. This thing is pure sex. Kickpanels would definitely be the way to go. It's the first thing I thought too. That xmax is awesome for a 6". I'll be looking forward to hearing people's impressions from and sq and spl viewpoint. Might have to pick up a pair of these in the future. -
It's always the people with hardly any views and dick for videos. As soon as I broke 350 subscribers a couple months ago it seems like a get a message from trolls every other day. I can't imagine what it is like for Steve. I usually block the user and remove the comments but it's starting to feel like a full time job. lol I guess it's a sign your videos are getting out there. It used to bother me in the beginning but you develop a thick skin pretty quick. You have to really.
