Diamonds All-around (update 8/9/08)

Recommended Posts

Here is my first system that I installed myself. Not a lot of custom car fabrication but a built my box myself, put compenents on my doors, and wired everything.....currently doing my Big Three Upgrade right now.

My System:

Mids and Highs

-diamond audio HEX components up front

-diamond 6x9s rear

-pair CDT tweeters in the middle of the car firing

towards rear passenger for better imaging.

Subs:

-diamond audio D3 12's (previous subs)

-Diamond audio D6 12's (current set-up)

amps:

-Audioque AQ1200d (wired@ 1ohm, 1200Wrms to both subs)

-Diamond Audio 2x100Wrms for the front components

-Alpine 4x45Wrms for the tweeters and 6x9s in the rear

Misc. accessories:

-Big three upgrade @ 1/0awg

-power wires and ground 1/0awg

-Mtx re-Q

-Clarion 7band EQ

-Dice Electronics Ipod interface

Furture upgrades:

-Main Battery......should I go with Stinger SP1000 or Kinetic HC 1400? which is better and why? Can i use both of them as my main batter or are they just meant for car audio?

loctite on the bolts will keep it from comming loose agian.

install looks clean , your carpet job is better than I could do.

Good Job

Oh man.....I thought measuring and building the box itself was challenging until i got to the carpeting. That remined me of wrapping Christmas presents in which i suck at. I spent a good 1 hour doin just the carpet I think. But i am glad in how it turned out.

Thanks checkin out my 1st build and for the compliment.
