newls1 Posted July 7, 2009 Report Posted July 7, 2009 Hello everyone. USAmps MD3D amp is 9.5 appearance wise (the finish usamps puts on the sides of the amp is NOT FINGER PRINT FRIENDLY!) Heatsink/plexiglass is perfect. I did screw the amp down on my rack, so the feet might show a mark or 2 but that doesnt matter. Amp is 10/10 working wise. Damn fine amp, and makes great power with a good electrical system. Amp is about 22 inches long (I think) and 10 or so inches wide. Amp saw an 8v preamp signal, so gain was always WAY DOWN, and the AMP NEVER GOT HOT, hell for that matter, I always found it to run cooler then any amp i've ever had @ 1ohm. Amp also comes with remote bass knob As far as prices go, here is what i'm looking for shipped. kandiman71874 Posted July 7, 2009 Report Posted July 7, 2009 when you say they are not universal what exactly does that mean? universal option gives you the ability to be able to recone it using a dual 1 recone or a dual 2 recone. the coil gap is wider to allow either to work without clearance problems. From what i remember hearing, one of those configs had the same coil gap as the universal as it was but i cant remember which it was.
