  3. Since this site is named after me, i think most of you probably know i own a LOT of RF T2500.1bdcp amplifiers. I have never had one on the test bench yet. They have always been in use. Recently i acquired a few for an upcoming build (Antheny's Yukon is going to get an upgrade). I also had a spare on the shelf i forgot about. Never needed it, i have never had a failure in 6 years of owning them nor have i had a problem with the non-cp models before that I figured this might be the perfect time to test one out. CP Stands for constant power. It is rated at 1ohm but is supposed to do ALMOST as much power at 2 ohms. I mean in all honesty, if the amp is rated at 2500rms 1ohm and can still do that SAME number at 2ohms (2500w), you cannot really complain. When a speaker is moving, especially inside of an enclosure, the impedance is constantly changing. You may have started at 1ohm but it is rising as it is moving which of course causes the amp to put out less power. This technology is supposed to help out by still putting out a massive amount of power even all the way in the 4 ohm range. It shines between 1 and 2 though. Click this link for more info: http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/products/details/t2500-1bdcp Constant Power U.S. Patent 7,994,857 Constant Power is a patented circuit topology that provides instantaneous delivery of output power over varying impedance loads. Music and speakers have a dynamic relationship. As the frequency of music varies, so does the impedance of the speaker. Rockford Fosgate’s patented Constant Power circuit design actively monitors and increases voltage and current as the speaker’s impedance rises with music, resulting in up to a 25% increase in total amplifier power. Now here is where it gets fun. Who wants to play the game for some prizes? Tested with: SMD D'Amore Engineering AD-1 Amp Dyno Power Supply used for testing: 10 XS Power D1400 14v Batteries 1 XS Power Intellicharger (not used during test, only to top battery bank off between runs) The amp was tested @ 1ohm (Rated 2500 Watts RMS) as well as 2 ohms. There are 3 test modes used Certified, Non Certified and Dynamic Burst 2ohms Certified mode (test stops at 1% distortion) - x,xxx Watts RMS Non-Certified mode (test stops at clipping) - x,xxx Watts RMS Dynamic Burst RMS (test stops at clipping) - x,xxx Watts RMS 1ohm Certified mode (test stops at 1% distortion) - x,xxx Watts RMS Non-Certified mode (test stops at clipping) - x,xxx Watts RMS Dynamic Burst RMS (test stops at clipping) - x,xxx Watts RMS Add these 6 results together and post the final number as your guess. ^^^ The member who's guess is closest to the correct number wins a $50 bucks! YES, the closest! That means SOMEONE will win SOMETHING for sure! If two people get the closest number, but one is low and one is high, the person who is on the high side BUSTS! He loses. So don't over guess! Also, if there is two of the same number, the person who posted first will get the prize. So make sure your guess was not already posted before you post it. If someone changes there guess (which is allowed up to the last hour), we will see when it was changed and that will be your new date. So if you re-guess, make sure your new number has not been used or you might lose! You get ONE guess. Post it and that will be your entry into this contest. Simple! You MAY edit/change your number up until about an hour before i post results. I WILL go through each and every post before i upload the video so if you try to change your guess afterwards, i will know. So don't try it. Just make a guess and wait. Let's make this REAL interesting. If anyone here hits the EXACT number (as outlined above), i will give you the amp. YES YOU GET A ROCKFORD FOSGATE T2500.1 BDCP!! This is 100% on me. This is my spare amp. Rockford has no idea i am even doing this. I do NOT want to give it up but i am willing to bet it all and play this game with you guys If i lose it, i lose it. I only ask that people who truly would love to have this beautiful amp play the game. This is special to me! So i hope you DON'T win it but if you do, it's yours! The video is already done so there is no going back on my end. I know the number i am looking for. Good luck! webstore http://www.wcCarAudio.com You guys have until Tuesday, June 14th at about 12 or 1pm Pacific time - so lets see those guesses! NOTE IN BIG RED LETTERS SO YOU DON'T MISS IT: IF YOU LIVE OUTSIDE OF THE USA (AND WIN THE AMPLIFIER), YOU MUST PAY FOR ANY SHIPPING COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH GETTING IT TO YOU INCLUDING TAXES, IMPORT FEE'S, CUSTOMS ETC. IF YOU CANNOT DO THAT YOU WILL FORFEIT THE PRIZE. I AM SORRY BUT DUE TO PAST EXPERIENCES, THIS IS HOW IT HAS TO BE. THANK YOU GOOD LUCK!
