People who say "I got a *said* amp on a *said* sub and it takes it fine"..... yea ok fine but where is your gain at? Lots of headroom yo. I can put a TFE on a level 2 and it will take it if gain is all the way down and HU output is whatevs...

The more power you give them the hotter they will get and as a result resistance will increase and you'll actually get quiter like an output loss of up to 6db is possible.
At some point more power is hurting more Than helping.
