  1. I tried why, it don't work. Cause a couple friends have there theories on how to kill one. We have a basic Everstart Maxx batt that is like 5 yrs old and I wanna show them a good way to kill it. I was told its impossible. lol
  2. How can someone kill a basic Wal-Mart Everstart battery? My friend thinks throwing a wrench from pos to neg would discharge it? IDK I just wanna know what it would take.
  3. just got 6000k HID's put in fer fogs

  4. Have any of you guys used the Crescendo CCX65's? They seem to fit the bill perfectly for what I need.
  5. What sites could I find these Crescendo and DD speakers at? What amp did you have on the Kickers TeeJay?
  6. Well I'm in the market for some new speakers. Amplifier is an MB Quart DSC480. Rear speaker is a 6x9 but I'm open to switch to a 6 1/2" comp set. Front doors are 4x6's. Looking for something that gets pretty loud, yet clean. I've been thinking: Rear: Kicker KS60.2 Rockford Fosgate T1652 Front: Kicker KS460 Kicker KS50.2 (Not sure if these will fit but I'm sure modification can be done.) These are just a base of what I've been looking at so far... Very open to suggestions. IDK maybe Selenium makes something better around the same price?
  7. Google ad above shows a ViewSonic projector for $699. Don't know those kinda projectors... Sorry. lol
  8. Rockford Powers get my vote. Put a set of 6.5 Power Coax's in a Chevy truck in the doors off hu power and I was surprised how good, loud, and clean they sounded. Haven't amped them yet.
  9. He said no money pits. I'd say 2dr. S10 Blazer or 2dr. Explorer. I've heard Explorers get loud easily... I think.
  10. Looking to have the bulbs be about the same color. It's the whole point of doing away with the now yellow looking halogen bulbs. lol billy101 - Ordered last Tuesday, and received 4 days later on Sat. via FedEx.
  11. 2010 F-150. HID's are from DDMTuning.com just installed some 55W 8000K bi-xenon HID's and now fog lamps are needed. Not for visibility, but for the look. I'm gonna go 35w 6000k for the fogs but am unsure as too what the bulb type is. The bulb type is a 9140 and I researched on Google and came up with 9140, 9145, H10 are pretty much the same. DDM doesn't offer 9140/45 types as HID's but H10 is an option. I'm sure it is I just want to dbl check to be 100% before ordering 35W 6000K H10 HID's. Thanks for any help. Edit: That isn't an actual hot spot. IDK why it appeared there in the pic. Pic is from my crappy LG enV Touch. A whoppin 3.2mp. lol
  12. I don't have the 3.4L. I have the 2.3 Quad (4cyl) Haven't yet got around to getting an alt but when I do it'll be Mechman. Meade uses them now IIRC. Thats gotta mean something. lol http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/86092-what-makes-mechman-alternators-different/
  13. Don't have an Impala but Mechman is a very good brand. Really good customer service I hear.
  14. I'd take a shot and say 139.4, TL. But thats just a guess. You getting metered soon?
  15. This guys just getting into car audio and you guys are gonna scare him right outta it into ballet or something. lol Despite how many questions he asks, just help the guy out. I was the same way when I got into audio. But RyanJin, reading alot on this Forum will learn you right. My vote goes for DC Sound Lab. Never ran them but they've gotta good rep on the Forum here.
  16. I doubt that. Do a search in this Forum about good RCA cables and really the only diff is sheilding.
  17. I believe theres a diff from the cheapest out there compared to the most expensive but for mid-range ones, I'd say there all the same.
  18. I'd say alot as long as you don't mess it up.
  19. With vehicle idling take some starting fluid and spray it up and down the vacuum lines and if the idle changes at all, you've found your leak.
