  1. as soon as the truck is moved from the spot, check the group for fluids. raise the truck up, get under with a clean rag and start wiping down the areas under the pumps, dumps, and everywhere inbetween for any fluid that may have leaked. then raise the truck just enough so the fender is a tab bit higher then the tire. then let it sit like that for a while and go back to check if the truck lowered after sitting in that position
  2. oh really? you can just pull the front axles and have everything be hunky dorey? look through these bagged awd build threads to get a better idea of what you're up against http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/94062-is-it-possible-4x4/page__view__findpost__p__1382773
  3. you guys aren't thinking about it right. the wind from the port is going in and out, not just out. So holding a cd out of the car window isn't like holding one in the port at all. and they are made to spin, not flex back and forth. the winds aren't near 200-300mph. think about that one again
  4. Not sure if they are at half ohm but I do know they are getting more then 16v. I'm guessing those amps are putting out more then 6k each
  5. 2 15's with two of those amps with a box kind of like the old one but have the port firing between the two rear seats
  6. Of course you get butthurt over something like that. I didn't look at the date from the video. So you're right the truck was 4 years old at most and after looking, people are selling 4 year old escalades for $29-$37k. Some people have the money to spend on things they really want and don't care how much it costs. Look at Chicken and the hoopty for example. That thing would be destroyed if he constantly used it to it's full potential (door handles, windshield, mirrors, etc)
  7. You can buy that body style escalade for as little as $7500 these days
  8. People use nitrogen tanks instead of bags for hopping http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nAqou35vdxI&feature=related
  9. http://www.sembeo.com/gtfo-awesomeness/ it starts off in a new random spot everytime so keep refreshing until you get to the top
  10. I think most will say go with the larger cone area.. unless you're talking 4 15" sony's and 1 18" btl or equivalent sub
  11. add this one to that list somewhere. Not many know about it but it's guaranteed to get people pretty fucked up http://www.barschool.com/drink-recipes/dizzy-buddha
  12. Yeah spitting on the green is not cool at all. I golfed weekly a few years ago but always sucked. I was the shit as far as getting the ball to the green, but once it came time to putt, I was screwed
  13. You could quote that entire video and just laugh. Talking about the knife "it'll turn a 500 pound man as quick as it would turn a 200 pound man. get real good at throwin them you couldn't get no better"
  14. In the Veyron video he said he's up to 34 and I'm sure the most boring one of some sort of high end MB or BMW 760
  15. And this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pna2NVwEejw
  16. 17 page build log http://www.streetsource.com/forum/113239_-2_Buildups-OEM-TerrorOur-09-SEMA-project.html Another awd suv on 28's http://www.streetsource.com/forum/114979_-2_Buildups-03-Denali-AWD-laying-running-board-on-28s-Build-Auto-Extremes.html and a look at the tacoma to get an idea at how they achieve the lift http://www.streetsource.com/forum/114579_-2_Buildups-tacoma-body-dropped-on-22s-front-setup.html
  17. They use telescoping front axles. Well for the ones I've seen. Not sure about the black one posted edit: nate I just looked through 17 pages of the build log for the black Denali and all they said was there was going to be a write-up in Street Trucks magazine telling all the details
  18. blitz beat me to posting that exact truck but yes you can have an air ride setup that lowers the car and lifts it higher then the factory height. everything has to be custom made though. expect to spend around $20k for everything to be done. Look at the truck in this video. it lays flat on the ground and is able to get very close to stock height lift. now this truck is bodydropped so without that, the truck would sit around 2-3" higher when laid out which means 2-3" higher at full lift edit: the video is to showcase how much lift can be achieved by someone who knows what they are doing. No this truck is not 4wd. like I said it's posted to show how much range can be achieved
  19. The rear tails are going to look killer with the tinted clear coat on them. That's the real deal baller way of doing them and I can't wait to see the rear suspension adjusted properly and laid out looking normal again
