Thinking about buying a Thinkware f770 front + rear dash cam but I'm afraid of the sub bass vibrating the dash cam to its death.

got a flat at Home depot, truck rolled off the bottle jack. Scared the shit out of me. Had to buy a $80 jack while i was there to get it back up. Then had to buy a $100 tire. Not how i planned my day,

why is it so hard to solder speaker wire onto 6.5 speaker terminals? the damm solder sticks onto the wire fine but it just slides off the fucking speaker terminals... advice please?

I like the sanding down idea to roughen up the terminal before soldering. I might try that next time too. I'll also try using my soldering iron at a higher voltage next time to see if it goes better.

The terminals that came with the image dynamics packaging wouldn't fit the positive terminal. It only fits the negative speaker terminal.

I think the problem is i'm working with 12 gauge sundown wire (too many strands and makes it hard to solder).

i was heating the wire and trying not to overheat the terminal cause i don't want the stock solder joints to come off.

The image dynamics terminals are alot harder to tin than the hybrid audio terminals I think. i finally got all my terminals soldered on but it took like 1 hour and i burnt a shitload of plastic on the speaker.

It looks better in the picture but when you get the actual piece in front of you, it's too bulky and big to put onto the door. Probably impossible.

Taking out my SMD CC-1 to change my HPF from 125Hz to 80Hz @ 24dB slope for my HAT 6.5 Clarus components. Hopefully they don't distort and become muddy at high volumes.
