BUT keep in mind this video was made with a single memphis 4kw running all 4 18's. if im lucky i might be seeing 750 to each sub. tell me what you think. good bad ugly w/e u prefer lol. but i turned the subs around and it has made a huge difference to the ear. i am leaving the subs like this. will be finishing my box as soon as i get one of my warlords so i can build the amp racks and get them in on each window.

if your on a budjet use Peal N Seal. its what roofers use. i done my whole truck in it and it only cost me around 160 to do and that was over well over 200 sq ft. i bought the gigantic rolls they had at a roofing supply company. worked great with a heat gun and a sprocket roller. its defiently not coming off.

If I do, my amp goes into protection after like 20 minutes and the sub distorts when the amp is getting stressed after a few minutes of slamming. I figured it was bc the wire couldnt handle it and it stresses the amp bc the power wire cant handle constant high impact notes. Oh yeah I was talking about the power wire to the amp from the battery, I worded the first part wrong. Isn't 8 gauge too small for a 400w rms sub? ok if it goes into protect make sure ur amp supports the ohm load you are running your subwoofer at. that could be the reasoning its doing that. whats the RMS of ur amp and if its 400w then 8 gauge is perfectly fine. and it all depends on what size wire your amp is supposed to take. im positive the amp isnt going into protect cuz the size of your power wire. the only thing i see is that its an amp that isnt supposed to be ran at the ohm load you are running. give me the make and model of your amp and make and model of your sub along with if its dual 2 or dual 4 ohm coil if you know. thx. but now reading back what u have...... i think its because the cvr is a dual 4 subwoofer and you are running the amp at 2 ohm when its a 4 ohm amplifier? unless i am wrong. dont quote me on that.

LOL 8 guage is big for speaker wire man. wont hear a difference bettween 4 and 8 if u can even fit 4 in the speaker terminal which i HIGHLY doubt. and with the gain and bassboost... well i would go ahead and try the bass boost down almost all the way and try the gain around a quarter to a half and see how it sounds. u dont want clipping on the sub. so no if u get 4 it wont make a difference so no dont waste ur money. adjust ur gains of ur amp with where u run ur headunit daily.

ive came to a conclusion though. if ur in a nice modified vehicle they are gonna fuck with you just because they can. when i had crappy cars they never even looked at me. now i just get that stare whenever i drive by them.

mine happened on highway 20 right before blountstown. absolutely no speedlimit sign and i got fcked and its not like u can argue with a cop. so im gettin my driving record and sending it down to the courthouse for the judge to review it to drop the cost and hopefully take the points off my record. but like i was going to drop my gear off in tallahasee. but o well what can u really do. the cops in north florida are cock suckers anyways. but the guy who gave me the noise ordanence ticket was a cool guy. he was just doing his job. i did deserve it cuz i was full throttle listening to throw it up haha. so of course i showed him what i had. but i asked him how was i supposed to know there was a noise ordanence during the day there. im not even from around here lol. so we shot the shit for a few minutes. told him i am in the military i just got back and put all m y money into my truck. and am im going to iraq here in the next few months.

alright well i just got back from florida lastnight and wow was it an expensive one. in 2 days i got 3 tickets lol..... well one was dropped cuz i got proof of insurance. my card had expired in december. but i got a speeding ticket and a noise ordanence ticket. the speedin ticket was b.s. but hey u cant argue with a cop. there was absolutely no speed limit signs telling me the speed was going to be reduced or even that it had reduced so i was still in a 60mph zone. so on my speedo it said i was going 60 which come to find out is 8mph off cuz my rims so i was going 68mph in a "supposibly" 45mph zone. OUCH! and well the noise ticket i deserved becuse my stereo was definetly full tilt driving down the road. i just cant believe i didnt get more than one so total tickets price is like 350 dollars...... but i got the proof of insurance dropped. speeding ticket - $202 proof of insurance - $74 Noise Ordanence - $75 Getting trashed in florida 3 nights in a row - PRICELESS!!!
