  1. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zmRTGRbrATs...player_embedded How do you embed again???
  2. Thaa Paaairish you mean? Bump! I wish I could make it- but it is a 4.5-5 hour drive for me. Here's to you having a great show!
  3. I actually know where 2 of those are CLOSE to me. One in a firearms store and another in a farm/house/sporting goods store! Welcome to the south. LOL
  4. LORDY BIGORDY at the wires!!!! The amp rack is the hotness! All those fans should definitely do the trick too! I do have a question about the loudness of the fans. I know all of that will be in the back, so that should keep them pretty far away from earshot- and they will be under vanity panels I take it. Just curious if you expect to be able to hear them? (not over the system tho!!!) That's the business!
  5. Looks like a perfect time for a bit of expanding foam and some Second Skin!!
  6. Lucas Fuel System Cleaner!! I love this stuff. http://www.lucasoil.com/
  7. Vacuum leak was what I was thinking too. Even if it isn't that, that is something that is easy for you to check and fix yourself. At least you can rule that out after looking....
  8. I am not a big fan of rear speakers, but it definately goes together very well! Good work on getting that previously flexy rear pannel back in there after you got it glassed up! It really does look good with the matching speakers and color matching. Great Work Bro!
  9. Freakin' sweet! I like the demos and reaction videos LOTS, but it must be the tech / geek side of me that likes knowing just how everything works together even more. Thanks for the videos and write ups on how you have stuff working together. The Tahoe is more than a vehicle with a system- it has a system of systems with lots of little systems in them. ....and Steve is the System Master.
  10. I dunno if that is real or not.... if you read down at the bottom of the article, it reads like something from The Onion. Still- if it were true, that would be a cool vehicle! And I know they can make vehicles that get that kind of mileage. This one however: http://www.motortrend.com/features/auto_ne...n_iq/index.html is real. The Scion iQ. Supposed to be out already in Europe and Japan and slated to hit the US for the 2011 model year. If it looked like the one in the picture, I would ROCK that.
  11. Keep on building your guy- you may get one. My favorite that I have is a freakin' MACE! That joker is bad!
  12. I have seen one go up in smoke for no good reason too....
  13. You are approved, brah!!!! Join here guys: http://mybrute.com/team/126281
  14. 4 more added! We are up to 11 now! Join up and rep the SMD Brute Clan!!!
  15. With the wicked cheap but respectable: http://www.caraudiomix.com/HIFONICS_HFi12S...cam.hfi12s4.htm
  16. I completely forgot about that!!! ...yeah- this is true. I don't mind it though.
  17. DO IT!!! Clamshell! I have 12 12"s that see about 1.75 cubic feet each on @350-400 watts RMS. I love it. Best sounding box I have ever had. That doesn't even take into account the loudness factor. I really like the way mine sounds, and it is meant for daily- it isn't for SPL numbers.
  18. For the headliner, sounds like you need to use some fiberglass resin to strengthen it up. The backing will suck it up pretty well. For the weatherstripping I dunno- maybe JC Whitney....
  19. Choice. A real Thompson?? My dad has a clone of some sort. .45 acp, looks just like a Thompson, but is a Springfield? or some other company. I can't remember. Very nice!
  20. x2 This man knows of what he speaks. I redid mine in my van. It isn't like it is FUN, but once you have done it once, you realize there really isn't anything to it. Just make sure that your backing is clean, spray your adhesive on both your headliner and your headliner backing, allow to tack up, then lay it down flat and keep any wrinkles or bubbles out. Look for a local fabric store. Most really large / commercial fabric stores have headliner in all kinds of colors as well as other material that you may rather have instead. They usually carry the adhesive you need too. Here is my headliner replacement if that helps you any: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...astro+headliner
  21. Ha! I scream at my guy too!! "Why are you punching when you have a MACE!!! Kill him!!!" LOL! You are approved, btw. We are up to 6 members! Come on guys!!!
  22. Where's the pics of the Cavzilla!!! Looks like a nice show. You had really good weather too! That van had GOBS of work. Good stuff!
