  1. Ok..now you guys are just rubb'n it in. I'm actually stuck on a job in chi-town and i'll be here till the 24th
  2. Damn you guys....I want some more SMD and FI gear... wish i could make it out.
  3. David, I will definatley be interested to see what you come up with. I am in the same situation. I really want to do an SQ setup in my truck, but being that I trade out vehicles every 3 years, I absolutely cannot cut the truck up and screw it's resell value up. I have been looking at different setups since I got my current truck and I can say that the trucks nowadays have absolutely no extra space at all...which sucks. Here's a couple of thoughts that I have been working with on my truck. 1) behind my backseat there is about 4 inches of foam and insulation. So I could easily cut out some of that material and mount some amps back there. The issue that I have is finding an amp that has a side mount fan to keep air flowing through it. 2) Can you put some square tubbing under the mounts on the back seat and raise it up to give you more space underneaath. With my truck this is doable, but it makes the seatbelts inoperable, so I have to rig something up to make them work. One other item that you might want to look into is the electrical system. I was working with some mechanics that I know and another issue with my truck is that the alternator has a signal wire going to the ecm..where as aftermarket alternators do not. So if I replace my alternator with a non oem unit, i get a check engine light. So I am forced to put in multiple alternators and have a stage of batteries, in which I again don't have room for...lol I'm tempted to just go buy a civic to have as a beater for tunes..lmao
  4. Nice car bro...but be careful turning up the boost past 12. Not many gas motors can handle 18psi of boost.
  5. Actually 56/44 is not a bad ratio for drifting if that is your goal. However, I've gotta say..keep it on the track and not on public roads please.
  6. Most likely you'll have to get an updated wire harness in addition to the newer ECU and rewire it all up. Once this is all completed...you'll be roll'n.
  7. sorry to hear what your family is going through...My thoughts are with your family. Just stay strong, brutha....
  8. hey bro...just go buy a memory card and transfer them that way..that's what the wife and I did. It's a little slower, but I got my 20's for backup's and my 120s for ball'n.
  9. I'm definately not a tranny tech, but I've done tons of work on my own vehicles Honestly price depends on what is wrong with the tranny. You'll save money by doing a rebuild, pending on parts availability you'll be spending about $1500+. Keep in mind though that most of the cost of rebuilding a tranny is due to the labor of pulling and re-installing the tranny. So if you can take the core down to the shop, you will save.
  10. Did you guys see how quickly everyone stood up and started exiting the arena.....lmao they were gone like last week.
  11. Niceeee....Happy B Day Brutha. If you guys end up anywhere near the San Jose area, hit me up. I fly in on Sunday, Plane Lands at 10...you got my cell number.
  12. if you have photoshop, you can record an action, almost like recording a macro in word. Then launch it and walk away.
  13. definately sounds like you need to get that tranny in for either a good service/adjustment or a rebuild.
  14. ^^^^ True statement. There could be a ton of different factors causing this to happen. We would need indepth details as to what is happening ^^^^
  15. If the ECM has memory to keep that stuff then yes it will show. Example, My Cummins ECM shows every drop of fuel that has gone through the pump, it shows average ecomony from all of the fuel burned, max speed, max rpm, hours on motor, how many times the motor has been started. Cummins specifically stores this information because of people being known to add power modules and such. This way if cummins had a motor that came in destroyed, they could see if the fuel consumption spiked. But not all manufactures care about details like this, so most don't store much. Mastersound15 - Sorry to hear that she has chosen to go the way that you were not hoping...but definately wish her luck.
  16. Post up a good pic of your bro man...I haven't seen him since I was a kid...tell'm I said hello.
