i have always bolted to the frame... voilia, minimal vibration plus db gain- would also like to add that the rubber washer things will do next to dick for something like this. you would need vibration isolators/coupling similar to ones used in high end home theaters but much more robust-

agreed, you do not want to "add" to the signal after you find the max undistorted signal. a preset eq could be adding +6db or more to certain frequencies.

im not even going to get into how the hell your running 8 different speakers off a 4 channel... i'd use the 4 channel to powerer a set of comps in the front doors and trash the rest of that mess... maybe run your rear speakers of the HU but i wouldnt even do that...

doe- didnt see head unit powered... probably 10w at best... so what speakers are powered by the 4 channel??? rears???

assuming you have clean signal, if your front speakers are distorting i'd guess your crossover is set too low... just because a signal is undistorted doesn't mean you can send 20hz to some comp set- that or your over powering them-

I assume too often that people are aware that downloaded music from the wrong source could be clipped to holly hell... but could very well be the case in this situation-
