lookin good man.. just finalize location and shorten up wires to clean it up.. if your tight on dough i suggest the shuriken batterys off ebay or amazon.. just as good but cheaper.. what kind of vehicle is this in?

ive barebacked wire for ground before.. so thats not the problem.. unless its a bad ground spot.. i would check your head unit.. take your volt meter and put it on dc volts and play a song with the woofers not attached.. check for dc voltage coming out of the amp.. dc volts = bad then swap to ac volts and see how many volts its putting out.. if any.. double check the ohm load coming out of the box.. if its still 2 the woofers would have to be dual 2 ohm woofers if they check out take a 9 volt battery and run it to the terminal on the speaker box.. positve to positive and neg to negative.. keep it on there for a second. only long enough to see which way they move.. if one moves in and one moves out.. theres your problem.. if they both move the same way. well then your sol lol

do you have the electrical to back up that amp ???

why not? its really easy and straight forward. one set of bolts is the input for one sub.. and the other is for the other sub.. right there each sub is wired to one ohm in the box. then wired in series via the bolts. for a final 2 ohm load for the amp.. if i were to move the two wires to wire in parralell i now have a .5 ohm load for comp use ( if the amp was stable at .5 long story short. buy bolts according to how many subs you have.. two per sub.. for each bolt buy this.. two lock nuts three washers (two big one little)*big ones contact box and little goes between terminal and wing nut* and one wing nut.. makes connection a ton easier

well if you can afford it go with the knufleks 0 guage.. but its pricey.. but totally worth it..

buy a shuriken battery off fleabay and put it under your hood.. then go to knukonceptz.com and order some nice 4 guage.. the knu flekz find yourself a used but in good condition audioque 2200d or brutus bxi 2606 (or newer years) get the audioque and call it a day.

do yourself a favor and save up a little more.. are you buying the audioque new? if so just opt and step up to a 15

i would go with audioque for the simple fact that you can recone them.. plus l7s are played out.. everone has em. well in the noob world anyhow

jeff go invest in a cheap relay setup. have that relay triggered by the remote wire coming off your brain. and make sure the relay has a solid ground and power source.. then feel free to run as many remote turn on leads as your heart desires.. take a volt meter and put it in the remote turn on terminal of your amp and ground the ground lead.. then have someone do what you described and see how bad the voltage drops.. if it drops bad. make sure you got solid power to your radio and such.. also double check the ground lead going from the engine to the firewall.
