  1. Yeah I don't expect to be able to hear everything if I ran my amps full tilt to my subs, but I'd like something I can have in their so when I cut the bass on u can hear your highs in sync with it.
  2. Yeah. From what I've heard MB quart is pretty decent too.
  3. It's your first setup? Order ya a head unit and make sure it has at least two sets up preamp outs. Look into something simple, get a pre-fab, pre-amped rockford or kicker box w, 2 12"s or something. Get some coaxials for your doors and amplify a couple 6x9"s for the rear deck. I'd also get someone who knows a little more about installation and fabrication to help you out if you're planning on doing all the install yourself, you can do plenty with a grand, you aren't going to get anything SUPER loud. You're 17 though and u wanna impress ur friends, just check the above out, and if you decide you that'll work for you order, install and impress. Be complacent with your stuff but don't get greedy until you have bookoo funds, lol.
  4. Yeah that's what he asked for. jeez.
  5. Yeah, I'm gonna get the 6.5" component set as soon as I have the money and see how that does. I'll play it by ear to decide what exactly I'll be needing.
  6. I'm gonna prolly just end up saving as much as I possibly can toward highs. I have two 15" DC Lvl 4's going into my civic hatch and the car comes stock with only to front 6.5"s in the doors.
  7. Yeah that sounds good man. I will just wait a while before I purchase them when I have some more funds. Thanks.
  8. I'm looking to get some 6.5" components for the doors on my civic. Any suggestions on a good brand? I havn't really studied much into highs but I plan on learnin' more. Also for no more than $120
  9. x2, wtf is wrong w/ you ur mommy drop u on ur head when u were an infant? "Nope, put me on top of a subwoofer thumping at 25hz"
  10. hahahaha gave the cat a catgasm and scared the S#$% out of the bunny! niice.
  11. Ok I'm looking to do a cardboard cutout to look at what kind of enclosure I could get out of my hatch. Is there any specific way or some tips I can go by to make it easier to do than it looks like it's gonna be through the process? I know it's random lol but any help is appreciated.
  12. Looks nice, great job on the enclosure.
  13. Two Lvl 4 15s off two BXI1208Ds. In the process of building the enclosure.
  14. They worked out great as you can see lol. I used simple green to re-wash, acetone to remove the paint, sanded, cleaned again and then sprayed again. It turned out pretty nice. The acetone revealed three previous paint jobs done to those specific parts!
  15. haha. I just bout the car within the last month and whoever was the previous owner never maintenced or cleaner the cars exterior, interior, or engine. It was nasty, I'm still in the process of getting it back to "original" condition. It's definitly coming along though. I've pulled all the seats, swapped the carpet, cleaned everything from the spare tire compartment to the glove box, the interior is looking great. Next on the agenda is bondo, sand and re-paint the exterior due to the numerous cosmetic abrasions, dents and dings. lol
  16. Yeah no doubt. That stuff was caked on up to 1.5" in some places!
