Some people want to be like Messi or Ronaldo when they grow up. I'm an EE Student and want to be like Tony D'Amore.

Ah okay, thanks for the explanation.Looking forward to the tread! I'll hold off on asking more questions for now, they will probably be answered there then

Nice work! Going all out on the sound deadening. Why can't monoblocks be run from the same power cable? What advantages does a double run offer here besides lower resistance? Do you do PCB production in-house? Saw some pictures of the new amp PCB, looks very nice! Will there be any reveals on the DiamondBoxx MINI at CES?

Tboorn, Most speakers of this type don't do much below 150Hz by standard, but at levels where the excursion limits allows for boosting they boost the <150hz spectrum (loudness equalization). When they can't boost (full volume) the DSP usually applies some psycho acoustical tricks to fake bass extension without extra mechanical/thermal stress. Those tricks work pretty well, but if the audio is as 'pure' as they claim, they aren't doing all that. Love to see people transform their passion into a a business via a kickstarter. Bit too much wank terms about how their output is 'pure', but hey if that way of marketing helps them sell; no problem The product looks pretty sleek. Wish them the best.

He has no need to teach you anything. He doesn't owe you anything. You don't deserve anything from him or anyone else because you have no respect for people and their efforts based upon your comments. If you have a question there are ways to ask it. These people are giving away free advice, at their leisure to people in our hobby. A little respect for their time and everyone elses on this forum would be a good thing for you. This isn't a engineering forum, he is not presenting untested findings to you. In fact I regret ever saying anything about an amplifier because of your comments. Maybe i joined the wrong forum then. A lot of the things I said/asked/stated were just out of interest but get taken way out of context. I'll leave the discussion for now. Thanks again mr d'Amore for developing this product and taking the time to answer my questions.
