This driver might have the best cooling DC has to offer, which I don't see any other than "standard" cooling on his other subs. My point is, I don't see how it doesn't lose strength. Period. I don't care if its the best cooling they have. All I see if that the coil is open to ambient air, so it can only cool to what that is. I'm sure on a 100degree day, it doesn't take long to get the motor 150+ degrees therefore losing strength. But that's just how I see it. I'm not saying the driver sucks. Just don't see it being a "great" daily sub. / of my story.

I don't have to play with a neo driver to know how things work. The sub works, I can see that. Just don't see how it does for long periods of time without losing strength.

The design of the motor is how you keep it cool. Sitting a coil that can heat up to 400degree next to something that loses strength at 130degrees or less don't seem like a very good idea. Just what I think? But why does my opinion matter, I'm nobody.

I agree, DC's neo design is not for daily use that I can tell.

I've personally never heard a T3 T.2000 or whatever it is, but the Mayhems are great subs. Have really good low end. Also 5.5 cuft may be a tad big. IMO, I'd try 4.5 cuft. That amp should give the sub plenty of power. AA is very high quality, made here in the USA. Which I can't comment on with the T3. I think you'll be very please with the Mayhem.

Quad coils is mostly for wiring options. Not exactly a "better" coil" lol.
