  1. I might even use them for my next build. Bahaha
  2. No offense but you sitting here, not giving all the info isn't helpin u or us. Subs? Ohm?
  3. The DC 3.5k is very nicely priced!!! Can't wait to see one.
  4. Honestly, I'd save a little longer and get some better equipment if I was you. Also, building your own box is the cheapest but you have to be willing to learn how but once you do nobody can put a price on it. Best thing I can tell you is start researching.
  5. Nah, I was asking the other guy. But it maybe useful you listed your equipment as somebody may be able to help you.
  6. have you heard of any bad ones? Rival904 on here had an 8 15" box tyhat was a pwk design .. couldnt break a 150. a few others have had bad experiences, but mine and jeffs experience with them has been ok. sounded good and did decent numbers from his setup. More info? Vehicle? Subs? Peak? He could of designed a box to have great low end, and the car had a high peak, therefore a bad number. But if it was build with metering in mind, this is less than par.
  7. I've always wanted to try one of his designs, and I just may on my next install. Do a normal my design ported box, then whatever he comes up with. Do both SPL(termlab) and listening comparisons.
  8. Not a terrible price, if I say so myself. Being custom tooled everything. People don't realize how much more it cost than already mass produced(for the most part).
  9. I'm interested in knowing. Oh well. Maybe one day show everybody.
  10. I was suppose to be getting a CNC router, and going to start making custom boxes.
  11. I see where the OP is coming from and I also see where everybody else is also. From dealer stand point, I see why, he wants this guy to run products local kids can see and hear instead of something he doesn't sell. But he should force you to run it. It comes down to if you really want something different u may considering giving up the perks the shop has giving you.
  12. Glad to see there is still good people out here in this business.
  13. Peak means nothing, as there is no official way to measure it unlike RMS. I rather have 2 1000rms subs. Higher RMS subs usually are built better, and therefore better quality. Not in all cases, but in most I must say.
  14. I've seen a pretty good bit of "ghetto" stuff. Half of it is they don't know any better. Not that its cheap way.
  15. *laughs* I am still waiting for some quotes... things are pretty crazy over in China as CES and a few other trades shows are coming up + end of year reports, inventory, etc. It may be after CES before I get much more information. I'll be meeting with the sources at CES, though. Another excuse to add to the lies. Bahahaha
  16. Tune it loooooooow. 30-32hz.
  17. Little birdie told me these subs was a myth. And this was gonna be a huge April fools joke when the time came. Bahahahaha.
  18. I can say price on the 5kw is close to all the other 5kw. This is dealer vs dealer.
  19. Another thread like this? RMS is on the website. Tuning is your preference like listed already. 30-35hz is always a good starting point.
  20. I seen the new picture of the N2, it has a flatwound coil, not sure if he didn't get the option or if the new HIXMAX coil is also flatwound, it use to not be.
  21. yea but doesnt mean it can handle more of less power by coil size...the BL and the BTL have the same size coils and one is rated for more power...plus going to a NEO im sure the cooling is a little better. the Level 5 and the DC Neos have the same coils and the Level 5s are rated at 2k and the Neos are rated at 2.5k The BTL doesn't share coils with the BL, maybe the flatwound one but not the HighXmax one. I know this was true to the Original BTL, cause it shares coils with the Q(original). But I see your point. But yes the stock is rated at 2kw rms. But fully loaded will take more power cause of cooling and other options. How much? I can't say the exact number.
  22. I found these two amps after cleaning out my shop. Crossfire VR404. Tested, no output, Green power light comes on but very dim. Nothing is burnt that I can tell. Next is a MTX Thunder2300. Burn Mosfet and resistors. Never tested, but I'm sure it doesn't work. Price. Crossfire- $80obo Shipppped MTX- $50obo Shipppped. PM offers. Pics.
