  1. I'm deciding on making custom doors for my BMW, but can't decide which will look the best. Need you opinions DOOR 1 DOOR 2 DOOR 3 Each door will most likely have 2 6.5 woofer (haven't decided on the brand yet) 1 selenium st200 and 1 regular DD tweeter. it will be powered by sundown sax100.4D
  2. There is, its called a clamp meter and digital multimeter. Once you clamp the amp you will know the power the amp is making. There is now way to really tell other then that due to a speaker being a variable impedance, and with every frequency the speaker plays will result in a different amount of power being giving to the speaker. A Another words if you are 100% sure the amp is making 80watts rms at 60hz, it does not mean it is making 80wrms at 100hz, or 50hz. true, just like there is an oscope What I mean is a device with lcd display that does all of the calculations for you. So all you need to do is plug in and play.
  3. I wish there was a device that can tell you what kind of power each channel puts out. Not AD-1, but something like if you have 4 channel amp and each channel does 100wrms @ 4ohm, but speakers can only take 80wrms @4 ohms, you would just plug in the device and turn the gain up until it's gonna show that it's 80wrms

  6. My dad is going to make me one I'll take a look at rf crossover too. It's all comes down to the price lol
  7. I talked to my dad and we decided to run left door ( DD 6.5 and DD tweeter) to 1st channel, right door (DD 6.5 and DD tweeter) to 2nd channel, in the back ( 2 alpine 6.5 @ 2 ohms) to 3rd channel and selenium tweeters we'll run @ 4 ohms with seperate cross over to 4th channel. With this set up each speaker should see their rated power and seleniums will see 50wrms.
  8. so I would need another amp to run them? Or I can just hook them up to same channel with DD cross over
  9. yes, there is 1 input and 2 output's ( 1 for md other for tweeter). How much power will they roughly see?
  10. Can I hook up my selenium st200 super tweeters to DD crossover instead of DD tweeter? Or would I need to purchase a seperate crossover for it? As of amp, 6.5 and super tweeter will be ran off sundown sax100.4D. ( DD 6.5 in the front and alpine in the back)
