  1. there is no max on amperage you can have in a car (other than places to mount the alts) the thing that you have to be careful of is how much voltage your produceing and what your batts. and cars elec. system can take without major damage.
  2. if they give you too much shit just tell them to come to this forum and check out my install , and that will show them a $400 car (van) with over $5000 in audio.....
  3. if there are more than 1 light on the switch, but the other 2-3 are fine then i would say its just a failing light fixture and very simple to fix
  4. lol ghosts.... if you have a decent knowladge of elec then if it does need the wire replaced its not hard to do or expensive, maybe 35-40 dollars for a roll or romex and junction box (if you have to splice into the wire) and shouldnt take but maybe a hour or 2 to complete, but i would do the switch first and then the fixture then the wire when all else fails
  5. there are a few things that could be the problem, 1. bad switch or going bad =$.50 replacemt 2. bad light assembly and just needs to be replaced due to age and over heated internals $7-15.00 3. rodent has half way chewed thru the wires $take loan out and let the pros deal with that crap lol...
  6. i dont have audio control, but i have a brand new memphis bass 2.2?....
  7. i think you could get a easy 1000-1200 out of parting the car with the trans. and airbags, then the cat and dash cluster ect. and 2-300 for the body. and come up with 2 payments and call it done and save up for a downpayment .... thats what im going thru myself comeing up with the 1000 down payment
  8. 479-888-anal lol just a quick joke
  9. remember to report the store to the state , as far as i know each pump in each state is inspected each year, and the tags on the pumps are the ones you should contact and have them do their own surprise inspection of the pumps ect. and get them into major shit, they will have to pull their tanks if there that nasty and install new ones which for a company to do without it been planed could cause one go have to close down for a good long time
  10. now thats what i call geting fucked at the pumps
  11. well just because the headunit remote doesnt work dont make the unit useless, you can just use a toggle switch if needbe to bypass the headunits. but if it has a warr then exchange it for sure. but the jumper wire is a sure way to test the amp, and if it comes on then you will know the problem lies in the remote wire and you can then replace the whole wire from the head unit to the amp or check the connections even the ones under tape and or crimps.
  12. i have the ryobi plunge router, cost like 100 dollars, which left me some money for the 15-20 dollar sprial up bits to use with the jasper jig, and has the speed control thats eaisly worked with your fingers while useing the tool. homedepot tools
  13. seening now that the remote isnt geting power isnt a good thing, you could possibly have messed up the head unit, a way to ghetto check the amp, take a jumper wire and put from the remote location on the amp and jump it over to the power spot on the amp (not the ground) and if the amp comes on then the remote is either broken/disconnected or failed inside the head unit
  14. check the amp fuses, head unit fuse, under hood fuse, grounds and you need a volt meeter to make sure you have power at the amp
  15. lol i love that one about the blocks, exactly how i feel each time i list something on there
  16. lol well my slacking ass finaly faxed off the form to claim my battery monday and had a monster ass battery siting on my porch when i got home yesterday.... the dam thing is a beast ... now i have to figure out if im going to keep it or sell it... but here is a link to the page with the batterys infomation on it... http://www.lifelinebatteries.com/marineflyer.php?id=3
  17. i dont see where it would hurt anything, other than look out the norm (not chrome) and as long as it did not get close to something really hot. go for it, i say think of it like this , you see the ricer intakes and look into one, they do not have rifleing (lines) inside the tube to "mix" or create a vortex with the moveing air so pvc would do exactly the same thing as they are
  18. i like it, was kinda lost the firs 3-4 seconds with it being so dark , but then started to look at the left side options ect and figured it out. laid out nicely and everything can be read without strain. and it even has weblinks ,.... something small but can make or break a new site
  19. uncle sam makes a mint every minute off gas. the gov. is one of the main costs of fule when you break the cost of gas down. theres so much tax on gas its not funny then the fucking epa makes it harder for the compaies to produce the gas and make them add this and add that and remove this and that and all that extra additve thats forced to be in the gas along with the extra production that goes into makeing the gas meet standards raise the cost of the fuel in the end..... its a mixture of all evils at once....
  20. He said that stations are taking advantage of the scare tactics that have spread like wildfire. He said that they wanted everyone to report high prices to 1-800-help-fla so that it can be investigated further. They said there is no reason for gas stations raising their gas prices as much as some are.
  21. lol dont make me go and make another "turd" video.... let me find my information
  22. found this shit on youtube. cop tried to tell some surfers to get out of the water and was on sand untill a wave came up and took his ass out alond with his atv lol.. watch both videos, its 2 different angles
  23. A local United Way office realized that the organization had never received a donation from the town's most successful lawyer. The person in charge of contributions called him to persuade him to contribute. "Our research shows that out of a yearly income of at least $500,000, you give not a penny to charity. Wouldn't you like to give back to the community in some way?" The lawyer mulled this over for a moment and replied, "First, did your research also show that my mother is dying after a long illness, and has medical bills that are several times her annual income?" Embarrassed, the United Way rep mumbled, "Um ... no." The lawyer interrupts, "or that my brother, a disabled veteran, is blind and confined to a wheelchair?" The stricken United Way rep began to stammer out an apology, but was interrupted again. "or that my sister's husband died in a traffic accident," the lawyer's voice rising in indignation, "leaving her penniless with three children?!" The humiliated United Way rep, completely beaten, said simply, "I had no idea..." On a roll, the lawyer cut him off once again, "So if I don't give any money to them, why should I give any to you?" :01nocomment8so:
