x2. i haven't broken any clips but i keep on getting a colletion of screws idk where they went once is better then twice. and in my case the whole carpet... seats ect have been out of my car more then can be counted on 1 hand

ive used acetone, windex, water or nothing depending on the mood/ supply on hand. acetone is the best thou but sucks to use. sometimes i would do wet rag then acetone. but depends all damp and damp pro is black ya i feel u man at least ur not like me and put too much of it so the carpet didnt cover it

Cut the hole for the speaker. i wanted it as small as possible so it barely cleared the magnet.... i ended up having to make a slot for the wires thou I didn't get any pictures of the speaker ring but it had a roundover instead of being flat and had a kurff cut so it would bend with the dash. Nothing major just a slight bend BUT it made a huge difference in the end result. These pics are in mid sanding thou, the ring was fiberglassed to the dash popped off and i snapped some pics after the first stage of sanding After looking at it on the dash half way ready i realized the orange wasn't going to work... So i painted the speaker while the final sanding and stuff was being done Soldered and heat shrunk the wires to the ES-03 All done

lol well you can do it... but if you do and it starts chipping you loose all rights to bitch about it

even bedliner should make a difference with the weight addition. but why dont u bedliner the truck bed and spectum the bottom if u want to do that?

depends on how thick it is. I've had heavy boxes sliding over it in my car and its held up but i think the main question is how flexible it is. If its stiff it will hold up until u throw a wrench in the bed and penetrate to the metal then it would peel up. but that's all speculation ant would need to answer that one

with vibration dampeners it shouldn't really matter what "order" you put them in as long as the product applied first is still good. Meaning if your base is asphalt products that will melt off then putting a layer of damp pro over would be a bad idea. Your not really in that situation since ur using second skin all the way around but i just don't want anyone else to read that and get it twisted

used damplifer for the first time yesterday. and to be honest i was presently surprised. Its a lil easier to work with but obviously lighter as well. im going to go with wasehog on this one and say depends on ur wallet. bumping up to pro will help and will be nice but even regular damplifier should be plenty. Id look at the 80sqft shop pack regardless of what u get and just double up on the problem areas. FYI a shop pack of damp pro is 50lb and a shop pack of damp is 32lb both 80sq ft

turns out the amp didnt like the high voltage very long. called rf they said it was supposed to be burp only. blew up the fets on it pretty good. one of the guys who fixes amps for us said it was the worst one he has seen. so back to 12v i go. sux but whatever... the amp has been running pretty good on 2 1800s but i need the third so im selling this new one so i can buy the 1800

sludge and damp pro are similar dampeners and work in the same way. BUT if the sludge is to thin it wont do anything. since u would be using sludge not spectrum it would be hard to do but if you on a cost effective budget its gonna be hell to get sludge and even it out enough to do the best price wise. you can also look at regular damplifier as well. i was gonna suggest it but decided not to. i think off 100 regular damplifer would be my recommendation
