LOL subs don't make power...... Also the SoloX 10 and 12 are rated for 1500rms while the 18 is rated for 3000rms

The humidity here in Kansas sucks too. It didn't seem that bad when we were there. Hot as hell, though. Well it probably felt worse for me since the humidity here is almost non existent 98% of the time.

IA 187, very good sub, used to have the 12" of it, they guy that had it before ran it daily on 500rms and it handled it great, if not wanted a lil more. There is one guy on youtube running 12 12's on 2 IA20.1's and another running 10 10's on 2 ZX.2500's.

I wouldn't do either of those amps, I would do a mono amp that does its power at 2 ohms, if you wire the sub to either of those amps each channel is gonna be at 1 ohm, which will likely make the amp run very hot or go poof. Edit: I just got Ninja'd, damn it

Hmmm, and simply adding more ports does not work, right? IT works but then you also have to take into account the space the ports take up in side the box.

Not much, like extra custom class,I think some titles, you unlock more stuff higher up on like 12-15 on Black Ops, but you have to play alot to get there, I am like 4th or 5th prestige but haven't went up in a while since I don't play as often, like the first 2 months black ops was out I played alot, now I play maybe a few hours on the weekend. Edit: Also when I am playing alot it gives me motivation to keep playing knowing my xp isn't going to waste

There is a huge difference between the 10's/12's and the 18. The 10/12 uses the same motor and a 3" coil, the motor weight's about 43 pounds, Now the Solo 18 uses a 3.5" coil and the motor weighs about 98 pounds, that is more than double the motor on the 18.
