  1. i did it to my s10. I expoied the roof brace back inplace since it became loose. Then filled the void with the great stuff also every cavity along the roof and the side pillars were filled inculding the back wall too. I have very very little roof flex and im not done with what im doing with peg board
  2. well considering my blowthru is designed like this just sideways with 4 12's abd i peak at 35 hz i tunned it to about 31hz with doing it the way i told him to do. My box EXACTLY what it was designed to do like every other box i've done does. And yes the tunning will be affected because of the way the subs will interact with the port and the air movemen butit really seems like your trying to make this more complicated then it has to be. perssonally i dont know what your overall volumes after displacement is but i'd try making the mouth of the port a little smaller, that'll help with tunning
  3. I'd tune much lower if you want to play ANY music. I'd tune to about 34-36ish if you dont listen to any low music. Also the physical port length is not 6.6" its actually about 31.6" but because the opening is bigger then the back port if you calculate the tunning with the actual" port width you'll be lower then it actually is. try calculating the the tunning with the height of the port being about 11"H instead of 7.8" and make the length 31.6" that should change your results on the calculator drastically, and it shouldn't be to far off from your true tunning
  4. i hope you have the battery to make the jump from a 2200 to a 3500
