  2. im pretty sure the MAP price on the SA-12's are around $190... but can be had used for around $150 in like new condition... i paid $150 each for mine in mint condition... awesome woofers... i recommend picking one up! Edit: also, Jacob posted up that he is now doing aluminum coils on the sa-12 but its only availible via recone... so if you can pick up an sa-12 motor for cheap, that would be a sweet route to go..

  4. Mine is a tad dirty... but yeah... thats what i love about Sundown... They didnt go out of their way to make things all pretty... just straight simple, badass, and to the point... same with the SA-12... its a badass woofer as it is.. no need to try and make it look shiny or anything... the equipment simply speaks for itself...
  5. Honestly, while the Big 3 isnt "needed" it wont hurt, even if its in 4awg... ive noticed small gains in voltage by doing the big 3 on stock electrical... and when your trying to milk an electrical system for everything its got... every little bit helps, especially when your drawing more current than the alt can put out.... also helps on older vehicles where the connections could be corroded/dirty... i did the Big 3 on my 95 tacoma in 4awg hyperflex and went from 13.9 to 14.2 at idle....
  6. omg... why has this topic gone this far? the port vents air... if your in front of the port, you will feel air!

  12. X mf2! i cant wait to get my new box built so i can have both of them in, and unleash this Sae1200d!
  13. alright so i want to lower my 93 saturn... my struts went bad so i ordered new oem replacements and i figured since i will have everything apart i might as well get some lowering springs... i have a couple choices as far as springs, but i also want to do it as cheap as possible while still doing it right... here are the cheapest options ive found with a quick search.. these are the lowest price.. supposed to have 4 inches of adjustibility(idk if thats a word) http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190395279229&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT and here are the next expensive... they claim to do a 2.3" drop on front and back http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=310168397583&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT as far as i know the other option is to go with an Eibach kit and they range from like 190 to 250 per set... anyways what do you think? how low can i go before i run into problems, especially with the factory struts?
  14. x2 glue and screw...lol then fiberglass around where the ends meet the box... i think the dowels i used on my 4 12's enclosure were like 1 5/8 in diameter
  15. so in other words you cant build anything for my car?... ok... so what about a bracket to go in place of the ac pump? shit dont work anyways..lol

  18. First, i would like to say... thanks to everyone who replied.... NOW its time for a super chuck norris mega multiquote!!! Mine is the same way, i hadnt thought about that... great idea! yessir.... i was just trying to get a larger range of options/ ideas.... and perhaps get the alt companies to chime in at the same time.... butttt i shoulda listened...lol... id prefer not to... i would rather just save up damn me! haha, im no sablenave though... x2 tis cool bro... i understand where your commin from... i dont necessarily live paycheck to paycheck... i can spend up to 200 per paycheck if need be and still survive, but it cuts it close... thats why i try not to spend more than 150 at a time... the money is there, just not all at once... see above post
  19. So i need to upgrade my alternator, but the problem is that i just cant drop the cash on one in a single payment... i dont make enough money... and i also am not good with saving money... basically if its in my possession, its going to get spent... i get paid every 2 weeks and have anywhere from $50-$150 per paycheck that i can spend on my vehicle.. i have my 93 Saturn Sc2 1.9DOHC.... i need a 180-200amp alt.... are there any companies that can take payments? and if so, what are your agreement terms? Thanks!
