  1. That's exactly what I did! Was so easy to use and fun to find out actual tuning on enclosures I was pulling old ones out of storage and hitting up all my buddies asking to test theirs!
  2. They say that planes are built to withstand lightening strikes and not as much as a light flicker in the cabin, but I hate flying and everytime I fly I white knuckle it.
  3. I'm sure it will be posted up so forgive me, but was just wondering if there was any rough "ETA" on the software? Loving messing around with this tool!!!!
  4. It's pretty cool the more I use it the more things I find to use it for. Plus using this tool you can find out how your displacement affects tuning, I might try to take the magnet boot off and see it if slightly changes the Fb since airspace will increase. I'm an audio nerd lol, but everyone can benefit from this tool. Can't wait to use it at work the more i learn about things in my EE classes the more i want this thing just to run around testing stuff lol I'd recommend getting it I just dont like the fact 9V batteries are so expensive!! I'm alrdy on my second 6 pack Lmao, Co-signed!!! Fortunately I get batteries for free from work!
  5. That would definitley be a major score if you were able to get that paid for! Either way you slice it.....WORTH IT in my opinion!
  6. I have to admit, I was pretty much thinking the EXACT same thing as I was doing it! Searching through the house/garage high and low just to find random speakers and enclosures to test.....but damn happy I pulled the trigger on this beast!
  7. Had to start a new thread just to say I had some spare time to mess around with this beast over the extended holiday weekend...and really, not only is this tool absolutely freaking amazingly easy to use, but so damn fun.....and outright awesome piece of equipment! Finding the tuning on my enclosure: (Side note....time to rebuild! I had it worked up on paper at roughly 30-31 Hz....but very difficult to get the proper tuning for a single SA8 V2 with such a small enclosure lol.) Also found some random speakers I had laying around and messed around finding the resonant frequency: The power this tool gives you at your fingertips is unreal! I really wish I would have had these tools back in the day when I was competing and spending ridiculous amounts on equipment trying to get the most out of them and was never really satisfied....always felt like I wasn't getting the full potential out of my equipment/install. Sadly enough the weekend had to come to an end, so it was time to tuck the IM-SG nice and neatly away until next time! On a serious note though.....a tool with this much ability and it really makes everything it does so simple that I found myself searching for more stuff to play with it on! Found some old enclosures I hadn't touched in years and dusted them off just to see what tuning was on them and such!
  8. Lol, Here I tought I was the only one still using the older TI calculators on a daily basis. Still use my beast TI-85 daily at work! I wish I was better with "technology!" I need that program on my calculator! Lol.
  9. Obviously it is early in the works so tough to say more details, but is the thought that this will be like a "free app" type program....or actual software you would need to pick up? Just curious what layout you were thinking!
  10. It sounds like you already know if your Stinger RCA's didn't fit. Just take it apart and dremel out the opening on the case, that's what I did!
  11. Sounds dumb as hell, and I am not going to make a video of it.....but added bonus, can test 9V batteries and find out if they are still good! Had a couple I had sitting around for a while.....turns out they are all still good
  12. Co-signed! Serial #6.....already put it to work testing the tuning frequency of my enclosure! I have to say it, pardon my french, but I freaking LOVE it! It's a beast! Cool as shit to have such a powerful tool in my tool box!!
  13. hmmmmm you should have it in 2 days since i am paying for that! also, my assistant printed up some "ground" labels before i reminded him we were doing 2nd day for everyone. So some of you will get two tracking numbers and only one is valid. thanks again! It says "pick up" is on Tue online so 2 day would be Thu. Maybe it will update tonight....Either way I am freaking pumped!!!
  14. Just got my tracking number....time to call in "sick" on Wednesday! Edit....FedEx site says 2 days puts it here on Thursday...can't wait!
  15. Hell yeah! If that's the case I know who will be taking Wed. off and patiently awaiting FedEx's arrival!!!
  16. Co-signed! Really looking forward to starting to mess with this beast! A good investment!
  17. Hell yeah! Christmas is coming early!!!!!!! Side note....and obviously I know you guys are crazy busy....but any chance you guys were thinking about "filming" assembly of these as you did with the DD-1 production line? Always interesting to see the manufacturing piece of American industry!
  18. Can't believe it is has been 4 weeks already since presale started. I am well aware the 4-6 weeks lead time is just an estimate....but getting like a kid waiting for Christmas...hella excited!
