  2. Be quiet and do what you are told. Nothing bothers me more than some shit heat pravate fresh out of AIT who talks about being fucking "platoon guide" or a squad leader so if you end up in any leadership position leave it there. We don't care and you look like a douche!lol And go to Airborne school or you will forever be a fucking L.E.G....
  3. I have a black 91 3000gt VR4. Is your a VR4? NO space for a 15 but it's a hatch so a 10 (I have an SA10 for mine) would bang
  4. Jon, I am sold on Alpha damp and Damplifier pro! I have an old roll of Fat Mat and am going to give it away, it isn't even night and day, it's like night and potato! I am in the middle of some stuff with my 51 Chevy but when I am done with it I am going to cover the floor with only Second Skin. I need to figure out how to get the fat mat out of one of my other cars and replace it. My 3000gt is getting some too (as well as my Toyota pickup), can't stress enough how well this stuff is put together. It even smells a bit like Play Dough and not friggin TAR!
  5. duplicolor makes a pretty good product. I used it on my 51 over a year ago and have had ZERO problems.
  6. I haven't done a build log, I was deployed so didn't get anything done. I'll have something when I have enough pics to get a good thread started. I hate "build threads" with no pics...
  7. I am cutting out the old floors and welding new ones. Then POR 15 and undercoating. After that some Alpha Damp and the road noise etc should go away. I am also running headers on the in line six with cherry bombs, needs me some shuttin up.
  8. I don't need too many reviews, gonna use this on my 51 Fleetline two door Deluxe. I am working on the hydraulics right now (olds school) and am going to do the floor pans soon (Fred Flintstone right now) and am going to cover them with Alpha Damp, well deaden, not walling it,lol so I will go with the recommendation of 25-30% coverage.
  9. now you need to find a real to real and phono! NOTHING sounds as good as tubes and vinyl or tape.
  10. I may do the cables this weekend. I'll film how easy it is.
  11. I am going to grab a X-303 when a deal goes through. Thanks for the help fellas!
  12. great choices so far. I was leaning toward Alpine so hearing first hand experience helps me.
  13. I am in the process of figuring out what HU to start looking for. I have a 51 Chevy Fleetline, recent 12v conversion, EA 200a alt and no music. I am not interested in too many features. I will be running 2 6.5" PG coax in some custom kicks so too many features that will "dial" my sound are not necessary. I am going to stash it away so a wazoo display is not necessary. I have Alpine in both my other vehicles but I don't care about CD's in this car so I figured a multi media type thing would work. Any suggestions? Looking at like $200.00 for a budget.
  14. these lugs are great! I got solder slugs for them and I have never seen a better soldered cable end. I will be doing up a video soon to show me soldering my hydraulic battery cables for my 51.
  15. I ordered 50. I'll let you guys know. I fucking hate paying an arm and a dick for something I could have gotten for less that half what I paid.
  16. I ordered 50. I got some solder slugs from a different site. Like $50.00 and I can solder them the way I like to to it. Drop the slug in terminal, heat it till it melts ans push the wire into it. Don't have to worry about melting the shielding on the wire.
  17. no kiding. I am going to sleep on ordering 100. I always need a few.
  18. 4 sets of two? That's not ab bad deal and they are local. I just gotta remember where it is.
