This is a tough one,and some people might disagree with me but this is my opinion. Since you already have the mla module and 2 alts i would go for more battery power.I would try for 5-6 batts to be very safe.The reason behind my decision is this.Ok you get 2 HO alts...then you have ONE battery.10k watts pulling out of 1 battery it wont take but just a little while for the battery to run out (even tho theres 2 alts pumping juice into it) theres not enough "cushion" between the amps and alternators.With this said,after just a little bit of playing you will basically be pulling power straight from the alternators which is NOT GOOD and will lead to FAILURE. Its sorta like this in comparison.Say you have 2 regular sized drinkin glasses 8oz or so being your 2 alternators,then you have a 2 gallon bucket being your battery,then you have 2-half gallon cups being your 2 amps. So the process begins....you turn your system on and before you even turn it up or anything all the "containers" are full.Ok THEN,you start hammering on it so your amps(1 gallon) starts taking big 1gallon scoops out of your 2gallonc capacity battery,then your 2 small glasses(alts) are starting to pour water back in...as the process continues you can see what will happen very fast,your amps/1gal jug are taking more water out of the "bucket/battery" than your alts/2glasses can can pour in....following me here?youll see that in no time you bucket will run out or only be running off what your alts are dishing out. on the other hand imagine if you had 5 batteries in there or a 10 gall0n bucket...your alts would be able to keep up alot easier and you wouldnt deplete your system so fastly/at all inbetween playings/beatings. does that make sense? Yes it DOES take power to MAKE power...theres just right and wrong ways going about doing that/making that power.

I have probably the same weight or a little more in my tahoe from all the fiberglass and more batteries..when it had the system done i got them to put 2 inch lift blocks in the rear (thinking this would compensate the extra weight) boy was i wrong,i had like 5 inches of fender clearance at first in the back,when i got it back it had 1.5 inches of clearence (or around there,EVEN WITH THE LIFT BLOCKS INSTALLED!) the tahoe was accually sitting on the bumpstops in the rear and drove really weird,it swayed like a champ.I then had them put a helper leaf/add a leaf in my leaf pack..that helped out a TON but it lifted it wayyy to much.It was to like 6.5 inches of clearence in the rear.so last weekend i took the 2 inch lift block out and left the helper leaf in there,now its about 4.5 inches of clearence in the back,,i think im gonna take the factory overload leaf out and that will bring it down another inch maybe,then ill lower the front down to where its almost level with the front..oh and i put heavy duty shocks in the rear..
