Damn Aussies, there were some talks of making it regulation to have rubberised mats on your dance floors and around pubs. Similar to the kind used in kids play grounds I believe.

having no idea what a monte carlo is or what works best for them I might not be the right person to comment. Assuming its a trunk car I would say subs sealed off forward with port forward would be the loudest in most cases. If you are not planning to fold your seats down then sub back port back will work best for most part. I have seen ported into the cabin as well by using the rear speaker holes but results varied and its sometimes hard to tell if its the box that is at fault or if its not a optimal application, You will never know how loud it will play just by using the software. there are too many variables. My advise would be to build it as good as you can and then start testing. That is why you would always hear many people say "loud is ugly" Once you find out exactly what works for you you can rip it all out and build it again this time making it look all good and stuff; but most of the time when people reach this stage they dont bother or already start looking at buying new gear. Personally the effort and journey to get there is all part of the fun so don't rush it too much. Do things right or it will always be in the back of your mind. Dont give up if you dont reach 150 the first time around and most of all have fun.

Try winisd or the torres box tool. Personally im running a sundown amp and love it. Start now to do ur cabling and get ur alt sorted.

Time to start building. I say do some aero's first as its much easier to adjust the tuning.

150 arnt as easy as people think. If that is your goal then that is fine. If you plan on doing hair tricks and doing 150 then that just upped the stakes. While I am not saying its not possible it will require some effort and even more $$$ Just saying so you know what you are getting yourself into. For daily I personally wont go higher then 35Hz ...many who chase numbers tune higher then 40Hz to give you and idea. Some like it just fine for daily but its not my cup of tea.

Sounds like something like the xl will do just fine for u then.

Thats cool, just asking since you did not mention a budget. By saying SQ you mean best sounding as neither of those subs are intended for SQ applications. Are you sure you have the space for two? Do you already have amps etc? Does it have to be a DC? Not that there is any thing wrong with DC, but there may or may not be something else that will better suite your needs. If non
