this may be your problem, about half of the ddm kits i've installed, this is a usual suspect as to why its not working.

im pretty sure the owner of the vehicle just took it to a shop and had all the work done. this was indeed a show car, so it was probably just a enclosure that looked nice to go with the vehicle. but still with all the hype i hear form all the jl leg humpers, i have still yet to hear a jl sub that sounds good and loud.

im not going to lie, i was at tex mex this past weekend and there was a tahoe with 4 w7's in it with about 4 jl/1000's or whatever and only 2 were playing and i was in no way impressed with how they sounded. they werent loud and they had no significant sq, the enclosure was fiberglassed and sealed.

ddm is badass lifetime warranty and really high quality hid kits i have 55w 5000k bi-xenon kit from them for a year now and i love them, im about to order some replacement bulbs and a kit just for the hell of it and how cheap they are.
