I dont like the compression fitting. I think its janky. I would rather screw it down and know its tight than fight with that. They fit hte bill for cheap but I had two different ones do the exact same thing. Eventually they came slgihtly loose and the wire would lose contact and then make contact. Melted the fuse block. Which sounds like he's on his way to doing. For a couple bucks more I can get stinger from darvex that I've never had any issues with at all. I'll see if I have any pictures of the blocks but Im about ten phones past the last one.

I hate the mini anl fuse holders from Knu I think thye are junk.

sounds like your sub amp is not being powered when the bluetooth is powered on. Did you install this? Id think that the remote lead for your amp is not hooked up to the blue wiht white stripe on the headunit. Take a look at your amp and see if the power light is on.

is your sub and interior speakers amped or just hte subs

7 cubes 115 sq inches of port tune to 30 hz. that will do it for now lol. (im not sure how accurate that would be but it should be ballpark)

well you just proved you are getting power to it. You've got a bad something somewhere. problem with RCAs unhooked rules out the head unit and RCAs as a cause. if it protects iwth the speakers unhooked it leaves the amp. You can double check all fuses as well. You may have a loose speaker lead that is grounding out. That might explain why you get sound every once in a while. But if it protects iwth nothing hooked up thats not the case.

get 12 volts plus at the amp on power and remote? try it with RCAS plugged in and no speaker leads. Im thinking its the amp. Can you swap another one in?

isolate it. if you dont have a dmm you are really going to pull your hair out. id suspect the remote lead is funky. If everything checks out you might ahve a bad amp. somethign loose on teh board or what not

yes you can do it. it just wont be as loud as if you port through the deck or not. one of the sickest setups id ever seen was the rear deck lid was the top of the enclousre and the guy had two eclipse ti 15s in it.
