And this is an internet forum. You're not always going to get exactly what you want. You have tobtake the good with the bad and the advice with the smartassery. You complaining about it puts a giant bullseye on your chest and almost guarantees you'll find alot more smartass answers. Its the nature of the beast. No one here will treat you special.

Would it fit? Sure if it bolts up is another thing. Bottom line is you will not get a 9500 motor and not spend 39 bucks on a new basket. You are way over complicating this. You have a 2500 they aren't even in the same league.

why are you using splitters and such? do you only have two preouts?

not true. you have different coil sizes lengths etc. not all woofers are created out of a magic box of parts. just the ones that look suspiecioulsy like others because they are built wtih the same parts int eh same factory in china with a different dustcap.

If there are 10 gauge or 8 gauge leads how much more power do you think they are going to handle by you trying to solder on a bigger gauge? Its not the same thing as power wire. It doesnt care amps of current. im sure 10 gauge will be fine.
