  1. Haha not that much. Real tight fit for 2 18's for sure! My current box I had to take out the panels in the hatch area to make room for the box. I still need to make the sides look pretty but I've been busy/lazy . My cousin and I built the box inside the car with as much space I could get without taking out the 2nd row seats. This box is about 13~ cubes after displacements. But let me tell you this box was such a pain in the ass to build it's not worth letting someone else go through the same frustration we did lol. The only way I can take out this box is if I break it. It's such a tight fit I didn't need to bolt it down because it just doesn't move lol. Don't let that discourage you though, I just wanted as much space as I could use. I read your other thread and it seems like you are thinking about buying one. Besides the audio, I love my Trailblazer. It turns a lot of heads. Mine has been really reliable and for a i6 it has some decent power. I think I'm gonna record some videos tomorrow for yall so you can see what I'm working with!
  2. Thanks for all the love! Tell me about it! It def made my day. Accomplishing my original 150 db goal with half the amps and batteries I need lol 35 hz Thanks! It's tuned to 35hz with 3 8" sonotubes. They are actually about 8.25" though but yeah. Thanks man! I finally rescrewed the subs with fatter screws and I can even tell the difference from just listening to it! I wonder what it will meter now. try drilling 8 more screw holes in each sub... mike singer does that with some of his big builds. I don't think I have the balls to do that lol

  4. Sorry for the late response. I never got a notification for your reply. As far as I know Boilermaker is the only person to have dual alts on a i6 Trailblazer and it looks like it was a difficult job. I am looking at the HF1415 IntelliCharger and it seems nice. The only problem with just sticking with a battery charger is that I still have to deal with the issues of my a/c and fluctuating idle unless I keep the voltage at like 15.4-15.8. What does the output wire go to? the factory connections that go to the battery or the fuse boxes or something?
  5. Lol... These things are hard to get loud... My goal is to be at 155~ db on music one day. On another note, how do I flare these ports? They are sonotubes. There are several different ways to do it... I've never used sonotubes... I'd ask someone else... Good luck on the 55 on music... I think there has only been 2 other trailblazers that loud ever... But, it's a hell of a goal... You definitely picked a hard vehicle to do it in... Need any help, I'll be lurking in the shadows... Haha wasn't my car by choice it was my first car, but I'm not complaining I love it! I bet though I've been watching your build for the longest time for some inspiration lol Thanks! Hmm that's what I did for the exterior with the beauty plate. Just don't know what to do with the end's that are inside. I'll see if I can find Ray's post about it. Kinda makes me wanna squeeze every little bit out of the setup lol.

  7. Appreciate the love! Lol I see you Boilermaker! They are the 22" Trailblazer SS Replica wheels.
  8. jigsaw!? haha awesome. looks pro routers with round over bits work wonders!
  9. thanks that was my cousins idea. hes pretty badass with a jigsaw!
  10. thanks i was pretty surprised! yeah i got some pics check it out: ^that was right after the box was done which is why i am missing some panels
  11. All the scores were in the kick since that's how its done here in the south with USACI. but i went to the show in webster, tx and finally got my system metered with a team and their own termlab there. i am really happy with my score considering my voltage issues (only one extra d1400 in the back) running with only one crescendo bc3500 at .5 ohms with 2 18" XL's that were pretty much jumping out the box because of the screws getting loose over time that I had no idea about until it was pointed out to me at the show! My first run i hit a 151.6 db at 42 hz! I only got a pic of the second run which was a 151.2 because of the batteries getting drained but im gonna post that up since its still a pretty nice number. my friend said i hit a 150.4 when i was doing a street beat run playing that's all i have by lil wayne but no pic for proof so idk if that's true because i myself never saw the final score with more batteries and another bc3500 i can see some real nice scores in the future DC FTMFW!
  12. that plus a rf 360.3 would be a sick combo
  13. Because I have to constantly bring the voltage down to 15.4 to just turn the ac on which is usless when I remote start, and my car idles funky past 15.8 at least once a day. So mainly for convience. Plus I'd like to have the option to keep my batteries topped off when driving for random demos and what not.
  14. I'm running a 14v setup with the D1400's but my car has issues with anything above 16.4. My a/c won't work until I bring the voltage back down to 15.4 then back up and I get like two lights on my dash at 16.5v or higher. I think they are the abs light and the e-brake light. And I've finally found out that the reason why my car idled funny is because of the voltage being over 15.8v. So I decided to get the step down modules so I can charge at 16.8v daily without having to worry about my car's electronics. My question is how many do I need? I just want to run the factory electronics (a/c, pcm, etc.) and that's it. Also does the wiring coming out the back or what not look like? Most of the pictures I've seen just show the actual module with no wiring. Thanks
  15. haha yeah man! i wish i got better footage. it wasnt too bad i guess but it could be better lol. that will change hopefully with future upgrades
  16. thanks guys! yeah i am except the box actually is about 13~ cubes after displacements
  17. i went out to a monthly car meet and one demo turned into a massive crowd and i started giving demo after demo and i finally got a hairtrick done! i can finally check that off the to do list lol. i didnt get many videos because all i had was my phone so please bear with the quality lol. everyone came to check out the system and DC got some major props! when i told her to bring her head closer she moved in a little too much but you can tell when the bass first hit that it was moving pretty good. i need to record some more videos. check it out and let me know what you guys think!
  18. props for someone actually doing it! and i love how you did that in a completely secluded area with no one around you lol
  19. ive been seeing more and more of these obsidians..trying to decide between these vs the sundown sa vs the skar vvx. wanna do 8 12's of either one but dont know which to pick.. but anyway good luck with the build! tuned in for pics and vids!
  20. In an expedition? I remeber that too ^^Techforce. calls it the frankenstein for that reason i believe.
  21. nah man SMD's! shit fuck hair tricks that would be people tricks LOL
  22. hey nickers sorry if i sounded rude at first. didnt mean it that way.. i just had to correct you cuz there are such thing as 14v batteries. you will gain a lot of knowledge on these forums man for real!
  23. sorry to burst your bubble but... i run two of them and theres a lot of people who run more. these batteries have to be charged at 16+ volts preferably at 16.8 like said above
