  1. very clean install i like how he hid the whole other box and 12's behind the other box hahaha FAIL
  2. Genearly more cone air is better unless if you put say half as much power to more subs then with double the power with fewer it.
  3. im running 1 18" SSD and i have windshield flex on my 1500 ram so it does get loud prob not as loud at 15" L7's but prob close IMO
  4. if you dont do a blow through your probably going to be very tight on airspace back there
  5. yeah i herd something about it dont know any details though?
  6. well in that case sounds like a defective motor
  7. i just know when i got my SSD i had a bad hissing noise like that and it was because my rcas were running rite over the fuel pump so i moved the amp and dont have that prob no more.
  8. Im going to say its your rca's picking up static. they can pick up static if they are over the fuel pump in your gas tank i have read.
  9. it might just be time to replace the amp dont really know anything else could be making it go into protect when it feels like it
  10. i have a 1608D 25th anniversary edition on stock electrical and some shitty battery up front and when driving volts will drop to 12v min
  11. dont know why you would want to wreck a charger rt with a spl set up go for a nice sq in that car IMO
  12. that could be it the insulation could be rubbed off causing the wires to rub on the door and power is being grounded off there or something like that i would check that asap
  13. cut 8 10" holes in a big box haha j/p get your max measurements look around on this site get some ideas for a design you like then ask someone or get somebody to make you a 3D design of it.
  14. another thing it could be is lack of power? check your 12v connection and if you have a dmm check how much power your amp is seeing i know its only 400w but you could have a bad battery connection.
  15. yeah man there good i can do the embeded links if you want?
  16. check all your fuses look to see if there is any melting or burn marks on them and if it looks to be in any kind of damage replace it. Also if its just melting and changing the coppers colors from heat most likely your running to big of a fuse.
  17. i was just going to say vids dont work or is it just me haha
  18. it sounds like your cliping it and its going into thermal protection. so it wont come out of protection until it cools back down. does it ever feel warm to the touch when it does this?
  19. what ohm load are you running it at?
  20. does it only happen when you have the volume up there?
  21. why dont you just leave it off chances are you wont get it to stay pointing up ever if its coming rite off the windshield. once you get use to it not being there it wont be a problem driving with it not there. IMO.
  22. make sure all wires are secure to the amp and check subs wiring make sure ohm load is correct set gains with dmm if possible.
  23. because i dont know how long to make the port when its behind because my port now is wider then it could be if i moved it behind the sub cut out
