I have been working on my box for the past week. Plan is everything but the top painted with gray textured paint. The top is gonna be covered with two-way stretch microsuede. wrapped the top and was gonnaput it on to day...enter problem! When I went to drive a screw through the top the drill bit grabbed the material and twisted it up and ruined it. I have enough suede left over to wrap it again but I don't want to just ruin it again. Any advice?
I run my aq1200 at 1/2 ohm but I get little to know voltage drop. It fried once but I did not have the highoutput alt or the second battery and only one run of 1/0 and saw crazy voltage drop. As long as you're electrical can handle it you'll "probably be fine".
Agreed! Like said before All of the mentioned brands are great companies. I've never owned most of them but have heard some, but if some one ask my opinion, I usually suggest AQ especially if there on a budget because I love mine.
The college preseason rankings are out and once again Ohio state is starting the season off in the top ten.

I agree with the top two because both were great last year and didn't lose much. On the other hand, I believe Oklahoma and Alabama lost way too much to be as good as they were last year and USC doesn't have a proven QB. As far as Ohio State and Penn State go I have little to no faith in any team from the Big 10 until proven otherwise. I don't know about Virginia Tech. The few times I have seen them ranked highly they usually flop eventually. LSU will have a much better year than they did last year. The Florida and Bama games will define their season as a whole. Ole Miss will have a hard time reproducing last years results. In my opinion there are several games that could've gone either way with the bounce of the football but the will still be a good team and hard to beat on any given saturday. Again these are just my opinions. Everybody chime in and tell us what you think. I love college football.
You'll save mone on subs but still gonna need all the same electrical. If you're planning to get into that realm of power you can't be cheap about it. You're gonna spend tons of money to get everything right. Not to mention mids and highs and 4 channel amps. Spend the money the first time and it will save you alot of heartache down the road.
If you find yorself getting agitated just walk away for a 1/2 hour or so and cool down. You get agitated, you work a little more carelessly and thats when you mess up something...voice of experience.
x2
I went in Music Mart(near by shop) tryng to help a friend shop for a system and got to talking to one of the sales people in there who was trying to sell my friend an Interfire amp and some fusion subs. Said he was running the same brands in his vehicle. I waited til he left, trying to be politeand told my friend that I wouldn't even consider it. The sales man came back and asked me what I was running. I told him audioque hdc3 15 off of an audioque 1200. He told me to my face that brand was complete garbage. I said they just aren't well known. He said if they were so good then everyone would've heard of them. "Suprisingly" the only brands he named off as being any good were the ones in the shop. Until he stepped outside and realized that my one 15 destroyed his 3 12's. My friend though it was hilarious. Just goes to show that alot of guys will say anything to make a sell. Including trash brands they've never heard of.
