    The amount of room you have to work with will be one of the big deciding factors in what you run. Then your budget will come into play...Remember that to run a lot of power, you will need the electrical to back it. Depending on the room available, you could run two good 15"s in a 4th order, ported through the rear deck...Budget will determine what subs and amps, but a setup like I described would be what I would do. If I were staying in the trunk at least lol.

    I just realized that I kinda came off as a bit of an ass lol, my bad. Just trying to prevent you from making a mistake and waste your money. Give us a budget, the room you have to work with, and the type of music you listen to, and we can help you out.

    For a lil perspective...This setup is in the mid 40's with 12 12"s...Thor is in the 50's with 2 10"s.

    Just because they're all shoved in there doesn't mean that they should be, or that it's done right. I would never do something like that in a trunk honestly...2 good 15" in a properly build ported or BP box, on clean power, will eat that setup alive. ^^^What Kranny said lol^^^ Slow typing ftl. But we're pretty much saying the same exact thing.

    How much room do you have? I doubt you'll be able to get 15-20 cubes in a trunk. Unless you're walling, I don't see this happening. What is your budget for everything, and what kind of electrical do you have?

    I assume with 4 subs up and 4 back, you're staying in the trunk. Idk that you have enough room in a trunk for 8 12"s. Why not do fewer, higher quality subs, on a better amp, maybe go ported?

    Hopefully Christams treats me right and I can get a good for my SAZ-3000d's, and I can get an order in before the deal ends. I want/need 4 SAZ-3500d's and a SAX-100.4. Don't you hate those extremely excited, yet worried lol.

    As long as he watch his gains and volume know and builds the box right they should be fine. Just gotta be careful. But a wall with 2 18" btl's = not sq lol.....Bt if done right, won't sound bad...Although I'm more of an spl guy lol.

    If you're thinking about doing a wall, you're probably not looking for real sq. IMO What gear are you thinking about running.

    Are they in a ported box? If so, what's the sub sonic set at...I had 4 JL 1000/1v2's a couple years back, but don't remember what settings thay had available on them...Is there a bass boost on the amp? If so, make sure it's at 0.

    Maybe try building a new box inside the trunk to try and squeeze evry bit of volume outa your trunk. EDIT:^^^Beat me to it.^^^

    No sanding or painting, we were quite a mess and just wanted to get through it. Done for now, 3 coats at waterline and one coat on bottom. Gotta get another gallon to do another coat on the bottom. Stuff's ungodly expensive. Running gear all done, and new zink. Couldn't get the trim tabs down to bare metal, so we just did regular bottom paint on them.
