  1. Wondering if anyone has this song in a slowed version without it sounding to slow.
  2. I took the woofers out after this cleaned en up and they are in new condition still despite seeing 156 bass race the coils look like their still new.
  3. Well A friend caught a demo finally at the last show and posted a girls(Jess from Australia) first hair trick. The song was the Decaf version of Juicebox(thanks Decaf!) The camera sounds like crap but it is quite a bit louder/lower with the windows down. Thanks Tyler for the video, I know I got to make more to share also.
  4. I sat in that vehicle and have a vhs video somewhere of it working it was approx 161 on the old meter but I am sure it would bust out a high 150's or low 160's just going by feel but who knows since the thing did not burp very long.
  5. Steve thats impressive indeed. Was that with vehicle closed up? Also the subsonic was off I imagine, if not you could probably do a bit higher yet. I am not sure is many even risk testing that low but I suspect more will do it now. I would really like to see each score from 21 to 50hz and see a full volume response. I bet those SMD's due to the design give you a nice response with very small peak. That will be my first test with mine, I want to flatten out the peak output bass response as much as possible.
  6. I sat in that car when I went to Florida, it was a nice and low tuned monster. Good to see the roof fixed somewhat. Can't wait to hear it again.
  7. You can calibrate it using the sensor location under the battery cover if its the same as my HPS40. If you need I can get you a detailed instruction how.
  8. We have not started yet but we are live Live Stream
  9. Hey if I can get the show broadcasted live I can run the laptop with a camera on my Ustream channel for you all to see the show. If it goes ahead and I have wireless or wired internet it will be broadcast here. Online Streaming Services
  10. Now this is a base for most vehicles some vehicles will need more stepdowns in parallel but you have to first test your vehicle just email me if you need help with a specific vehicle. I may or may not be able to help. Also I noted elsewhere that doing this gained me 4-5 mpg I would imagine due to the stronger spark and solid voltage from the stepdowns. But by going to an 18volt daily system I get more amperage from the alts the amplifiers draw less and run cooler. So many benefits for the serious minded who want to squeeze every ounce of performance from their daily ride. There are variations to this but this worked for my particular build.
  11. Left home when I was 15. Car audio was partially responsible but mostly the parents. Wouldn't change a thing.
  12. At finals we do ask you use commercially available songs that anyone can get. Custom home made CD leaves to much room for interpretation but to be safe at multi point events don't use modified songs and have the original on hand on a CD if any questions arise from the officiating staff or other competitors. With that said here is a song that does well at 28 hz and its completely legal. (Bass Connection=Play with fire=28hz) and (Soulja Boy-Rubberbands=33hz(within 1hz)
  13. A+ on the video's, What does that vehicle with the 32 12's hit in dB Drag/bass race style. That note sounds pretty damn low and I see vehicle reinforcements in the future for it. A vehicle that loud and that low can't stay stock for long.
  14. I run Stetsom also with no problems on the 7K2D's.
  15. Is that a 4" coil, 10" six spider mirror config? Rusty you dawg! You had me at the 8 gauge lead wire hook up's. Seriously looks devastating but I think N42's would allow for more rear coil cooling. Sick no less.
  16. Awesome Steve now I got a place to crash if I come down for visits! Damn nice to have a better place to build and test I bet. You can now take on huge vehicle builds and the shop now will reflect the great work.
  17. This smart(Murillo's) was at one of my shows, It did 151.6 that day for its final run. That video was of the qualifying score and the note was 79-80 hz. It was fun to see but definitely not a groundpounder.
  18. Check out the rules, I think you will like it. Basically if you have a loud, low tuned system with good front end control you should do well. http://www.termpro.com/dbdrag/rules/2009/rules.asp?Org_ID=3
  19. Mark Eldridge also competed and almost took it because his RTA score is sick. Once he ups the spl Marks ride will be a contender too. All that in a race car that does 200mph. So Psyclone is well rounded for everyones system. Mike you plan to try it out?
  20. DC impresses me more all the time. I can explain how loud it was when I metered Clays Psyclone run but I will leave it up to those who were there to explain their 120-130db in their own vehicle across the convention center. 156.8dB @ 33hz averaged over 30 seconds with "Rubberbands" song for the spl portion. Psyclone, Canadian made and Canadian owned
  21. I also forgot to thank you at the show for finding out where those blazers break when they get loud so I know where to reinforce so it don't happen to mine. I was really proud I was the Judge who captured that run, the cabin does need to be fixed before finals or your gonna do write off the vehicle. Stetsom, DC, and Macrom make a perfect combination in that ride.
  22. Its doing that score with the windows open or closed? If open, thats gonna be one awesome psyclone vehicle.
  23. Well when I did the run for his bass race I left the other meter on the table 6 feet from the closed door and it bass raced a 126.xx Its very loud outside he vehicle with the doors closed. Its only going to get louder I can only imagine.
