  1. You have a girl friend Lowroll and her name is CarAudio! lol I can feel ya on the whole first real big girlfriend thing though. When we broke up for the first time it crushed me, but a little time will heal all and you'll be stronger for it, trust me!
  2. 9 times out of ten the manufactorer will be dead on, What it sounds like your hearing is the stamped baskets rattling becuase there's no accoustical control. I think that is why they recommend sealed and .9 -my two shiny coppers!
  3. I remember telling you that even on the manufacteror's website it say's .9 sealed! they don't give ported recommendations at all that is what I said in your other post.
  4. You could run this also: http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-AUDIOPIPE-3000W-MO...id=p3286.c0.m14 Its two 1500 watt amps that are strapped inside, so 2 ohm mono or 1ohm stereo!
  5. Thanks, but I have 4-T40001bd's I think i'm done with power for now!
  6. I seen that, but it looked like the rubber window guide on the door just popped up.
  7. It takes untill the end of the video to see it so just move the slide.
  8. There's 6days left so he just posted this. The price will rise, trust me!
  9. the 2610D is 378 shipped and can do 2600, I don't care how many people wanna argue that they can't, it's been covered a hundred times. You will need 14.4 volts constant.
  10. Hifonics, for the money there great amps. Like JGod said I have beat mine with zero problems.
  11. Well lets face it your car isnt the cheapest car around so add that into the fact that only few people rip them apart to build a custom stereo. You may be able to do it ported but not without fiberglassing and I mean thick. You would have to completely tape off and protect the entire area where the enclosure would be built and then use aluminum foil for lifting out the bottom half of the enclosure after you did say three layers of heavy glass. Then you can build up off of it. But before buying or doing anything see if this is something you want to tackle on your own: www.fiberglassforums.com this guy did a good example of glassing off the car and pulling out the piece to build off of: http://www.fiberglassforums.com/showthread.php?t=9388 You'll need an account to see it!
  12. I would design the port on paper first, including the actual measurements for 150 sq inches, co lets say it ends being 15" x 10" by 10" deep well we know that 1,728 is one cubic ft so 15x10x10 =1500/ 1728 = 1.152 so 1.1cubic ft plus whatever the sub displacement is total is how much bigger I would build the box to account for displacement unless kicker already did that. I would call there tech support, it's free and there guys really know there products.
  13. Looking good so far, I seen one of these with an orange pearl hood/top/trunk and white pearl sides with rims that had orange pearl spokes.
  14. Your gain is not a volume control, it's for matching your headunit's output. Your volume on your headunit would determine how much power the sub gets. Based on Kicker's specs which are dead on I would go with recommended: http://kicker.com/sites/default/files/2007...20b01%20Web.pdf They recommend 10ft max with 150 sq inch of port.
  15. Funny you say that, when I was finishing college I had to go thru an office 03 class and powerpoint was one of the things we had to do. I did the whole thing on DB Drag and people loved it plus I got an A lol
  16. Infact if your looking for a combo that matches: http://cgi.ebay.com/KENWOOD-KAC-7204-2-OF-...id=p3286.c0.m14
  17. What I was saying is the subs you chose are to be put in a .75 cubic ft sealed enclosure, the manufactorer doesnt even give ported specs, which is I am assuming you have them in? Becuase when you say 33-34hz you would be normally speaking about a ported box's tuning. I would go with these before the lightning: http://www.woofersetc.com/p7530/KFCW2511--...m-Subwoofer.htm http://www.kenwoodusa.com/Car_Entertainmen...ofers/KFC-W2512 The specs on the Kenwood site are for the 2512 but it's the same woofer.
  18. Wonder what he's hittin?? I'll bring my termlab over there and we'll mic him!
  19. The reccomended is sealed only and .75 which is really small. The measurements you have provided give room for much more. Is there any reason why you chose these in particular?
