    I tell u it wasn't the headphones it was the input source. Most Sennheiser's sound bright, and the higher you get in the price range the brighter the highs and mids get. And the more lows u get. The Bose hooked up to a headphone amp loses against the SEnnheiser. It could also be because it lacked power, because the impedance of the higher range is very high.(like 150, then 300 ohm.) I sometimes think it has too much highs on (very) high volumes.

    LOL, then there was probalby something wrong with the headphone amp or with the music quality. Because the Sennheisers need good quality music to shine. They will show all mistakes. The BOse don't, they don't give Hi fidelity sound.(they are overpriced like all other Bose equipment, their headphones compete woth 50€ headphones.)

    Yea, really. And i think he wanted headphones, not earbuds. And for 100 dollar the best headphones in that range IMO is the Sennheiser HD495 EDIT: they get low without any problems, it has good highs and nice midrange. If u are going to power it with a (headphone) amp they will lack some bass if u turn it up loud. They don't really sound harsh, but tehy get harsh on higher volumes.(with high volumes i mean loud enough to hear it 4-5 metres away )

    The best ones i have is the Sennheiser 595. But the Sennheiser 800series should be waay better then the older 695.

    Roscoe is back. I don't understand, is only one subwoofer hoooked up? And the other one is just acting like a passive radiator? or are they in a different chamber?

    Holy port area. And X2 on what 200LaDe said, and also use ductape around the subwoofers for a better seal, sometimes you can gain quite a lot of 0.1dB's

    Use a saw to saw the front off or the piece you need.

    A HO alt will help you more then a bat. But it costs more, but in the long run a alt is a smarter idea.
