I was just thinking that someone should do something like this, but that's why tony is tony because he's ahead of the game. My only concern is that the mids are exposed. Will there be any kind of grills to protect the cone/surround?

All of you saying what's the big deal smh. The point is the buyer and seller come to an agreement when something is sold. This isn't a retail store where you have 30 days to return it if you're unhappy. This is where being a man comes in. Man this stuff pisses me off, idk how some people call themselves men.

Hope they get you with the warranty if they have any time left, they totally screwed me with that. What sucks is they're the best so I have to stick with them.

So, a few weeks ago i sent in a battery (d3400) for some warranty issues, it was a dead battary (my diagnosis). Before I spent about 50-60 bucks in shipping fees I HAD to get a RA number from XS, so i had to tell them the purchase date and company i purchased the batt from. Just to be clear, everytime I called and spoke with them, i told them the issue; that I purchased the battery from so and so, and the warranty through them was expired or whatever , and they were fine with my explanation. Long story short, after they finished diagnosing the battery and confirming that in fact it was a dead batt, they reached out to me and told me that I would need the receipt in order to have the warranty cover the issue. I understand that in most cases i would have needed the receipt, but i told them that i didnt have it. So, my dilemma was to just lost out on the batt that i sent in, or buy a new one from them. I ended up buying a new battary through them, so I ended up getting assed out of the money i spent on shipping and i had to buy a new battary. I wish they would have told me that before they give me the return authorization, and i spend the money on shipping. Its only 60 buck, but 60 bucks is money to me, i work hard for that isht. Long story short be sure to keep you receipt if you ever need to send something in. XS Power is still the product of my choice, but i just thought that was a little sketchy. Like i said, everytime i called i told them the info and never once did they ask for the receipt. Just a little rant for you all. Just dont want anyone going through the same thing that i did, so once again keep your receipt.

That show is so whack, they came out to Cali to race our "fastest cars" and they chose every car they wanted to race, it had to be inspected, they had to have a tech, had a long list of requirements in order to race them. To top it off they only did 1/8 miles, they didn't want to race the fastest street racers in 1/4 miles. I don't even bother watching that scripted tv show... End rant/ But never the less it's bad ass that mechman gets that promo!!!!

Those things are so bad ass I've seen a lot more lately. I've seen jordan farmar a few times rolling around in one.

I don't know how to feel about this one. Not that I am hating but I've owned both brands of subs and I'll leave it at that. I wish you the best of luck and look forward to learning a bunch of stuff as you build this thing. Maybe this build will shut the haters the hell up!

Well I ordered some a xs power 551 i-bar well over a week ago to be delivered to my home with their free shipping service. Yes i know its free so why complain, but i live less than 15 miles from sonic electronix HQ and they still havent arrived. If i would have known that it was going to take this long to get them i would have just gone to pick them up in person. I was planning on doing a major maintenance job tomorrow on my car and i really wanted to install my d3400. damn rants, i never thought id be here bitching about something like this.
