    the 10 is in about a cube tuned to 38. it gets to full excursion, but no smells at all. you getting some special spls?

    I got one of the IXLs a few weeks ago. rated 1000rms and its on a hifonics 1608 now, and is taking the power all day. so im sure the spls will be even better. shipping sucks though since they are in canada

    i did a box kind of like that in my trunk, It wasnt any uniform shape but more like 3 different boxes bolted together, It had terrible output for what it was.

    I got an 18" TSNS from him. Just arrived and it was great packaging, similar to how DC alts ships there alts with expanding foam. But this wa the budget version.

    those boxes in the videos were tapped horn style boxes. they can make a smaller sub sound good, but arent really meant for getting dbs

    AC 200 use a test tone and dont set it with your eq flat, and all your other settings down, then turn them up after your gain is set, that will just defeat the purpose. set the gain with the deck on the highest settings youll ever have it for your low frequecies.

    my thoughts too, when you said gain set half way that was a flag for me that says, you dont really know how to use a gain knob

    No sealed parts of it. its really just a ported box with the port exiting over the sub like in a tapped horn style box

    you can find copper washers to use. I know autozone has some for to use for your cars oil pan bolt. they are usually for half inch bolts. Lowes or homedepot might have some but last time i looked i couldnt find any

    yea, youll do a sweep and theyll look at the screen where it peaked and tell you. after that i usually start a few hz below wat they say and burp it for 3 seconds on each tone, stepping up one hz at a time

    yea, i had a mojo spec sheet and they had a quad 1 ohm paralleled to .25 and did a sensitivity rating with 2.83 volts(32 watts). almost as bad as max power ratings

    With a tone you can play right at your peak freq, but how much gain depend. i get the same score with a song that peaks right where my car peaks you will also have more impedence rise with a tone
