    i wasnt gonna make a new post about this, but ill add to this one. my remote gain isnt mounted anywhere so when i grab it out of my cup holder to turn it up, if the little phone jack cord moves it sends a big pop/thumb noise to the subs. Its in all the way just seems loose though.. once i mount it somewhere im sure it wont be a problem, but i just thought id say somethin

    Ive got a pyro use for cornstarch. I actually did it in a science class room too.. in sixth grade.. turn on a blow torch. roll a piece of paper up to make about a half in diameter tube put about a tablespoon of corn starch in the tube, blow over the top of the flame. Big Fire Ball

    Ima feel little with my 2 15s and a 3k and .5 and still probably when i get my second 3k in. i need somethin bigger than a honda. I should have a post up soon with wat the tline for the 10 looks like so far. its about 20% right now

    its gotta be big, and i love LOWW tuning I stopped with them for a while, but i like going back to them, i like how they play the lows. What kinda bigger and better things are you doing now?

    Isnt that only true for ac current? once you get to dc current it just flows through the copper or whatever the wire is.

    I started first..haha. i was lookin at one for 15s, but its gonna be about 24 cubes...too much for a little accord. Tomorrow ill, be startin on one for a 10" peerless sub for my livin room. 18hz tline :-) then ones thats done, and a diff box for my car, another 18hz tline this time for a 15 in my room.

    not to seem like an ass. but this is about the 5th tline thread ive seen in about a week. you newbies need to learn about the search button. edit: theres even a tline tutorial pinned to the top of this section...minus pics though

    splice a switch in to the remote turn on wire... or you could go a step further and put a relay to turn on the amps.. but you probably dont wanna do more work than you need to.

    ive made a few like it, they have a real good low end. the only thing is. that box gets pretty big once you scale it up for somethin bigger than a 6 1/2" speaker

    Very nice. but i think you have a problem like i had. i tried to build a tline before, but it ended up being just a ported box tuned to 22hz. It was great on loow low stuff like you say yours is but lost some on the rest. even still the box was one of my best. but yours may actually just be a low tuned ported box, just because its got a bigger chamber around the sub than the rest of the line. but still. it looks like a box id love to hear.

    the sundown is a great amp, i have one of the saz 3000s they will do got at half an ohm if you electrical backs it up. theres some 3000s on here for sale if you want to run one of those at 2 ohms and get some good power, then youll have room to upgrade subs down the road. the ones for sale are around 5 and 6 hundred. a little over your budget

    not pyle.. go with something good like sundown. ive had two pyle amps when i was little a wanted the cheap stuff.. pass on it but it would be good to know the coil configuration to know wat amp you need..edit i saw now you could run that sundown at 1/2 ohm. since you have the electrical to back it up.

    how big is the amp your trying to power. i just got a mechman 250 that does around 158 at idle

    it really depends on what equipment your needing to power, but that is a good number for idle

    thanks guys. Hes also got this nice hot blonde friend that came over with him this morning. no pic of her though I may also spend some time this summer out there on the boat with them. as for sound. it sounds great, it gets sooo loud too.
