I agree with everyone that they are too over prices. And I think everyone is going easy on naming other amp that are more affordable with at least equal quality.

X2 The 18" Fi BTL start at a lil over 4 hundred plus the options and personally I think that would be a better choice. But if you feel like you HAVE to get a w7 you should get then 13.5 not then 12, but that is way on the expensive side too. IMO.

Why would it turn out bad though. I mean he did pay them to make him a box, he didn't like it so he had another one built and was more please, and he's bumping hard now. I don't see anything wrong with any of that. And it's not like the shop could tell him what to do with HIS car's system. The only thing I could think of that might cause a problem is if they had sponsored him and he's still suppose to be rockin' their product.

I think you should tell them you didn't like how the enclosure they built for you turned out, but you should still go with the 12's and show them that a w7 isn't the only woofer that could get loud.

I downloaded a song off of iTunes once and I played it on my last system and it blew the coils on my 2 12s, I'm not really sure if it was the songs fault but that's what happened to me once.

Well the brackets you have on it look tiny on that box, do you have a pic that shows your whole trunk? Well even if you don't, what I was thinking is that you could push your box until it's leaning on one of your trunk walls and then practically fill the opposite side with brackets, or you could put a few bigger one.

When does it slide, when your driving or when you bump? Cuz when I had my system going (Two 12") my box didn't slide around when I drove and I'm pretty sure your box and sub weighs about twice what mine did. But if you still need to brace it try bigger l brackets.

It has worked pretty good for me so I'm sticking with it for now. And I tried FrostWire and I felt like it was just another name for LimeWire and I had bad times with LimeWire.

I think that is out of hand, I mean why fine an individual so much, I'm pretty sure that they wouldn't be able to get even half that much money in the lady's whole lifetime....I think their argument about the prices of songs on iTunes was good, and they should have just charged her for the price of the song or something along those lines.

Well I hope it really was that he was in the hopital (not that I want anything bad to happen to anyone) instead of him trying to rip you off....but I think you should have him e-mail you the tracking number as soon as he gets it as proof that he sent your item out. And good luck with all of this.
